Here's a random reply that will use up 20 seconds of your time...

I haven't been paying attention to what's been happening with this thread, because I've been playing Scrabble with my brother...

I was going to play the word "ape" but then I saw that I had a C. So I tried to make cape, but then I saw on the board that it said "I APE." So if I had put the C down, it would have said, iCape.

And I said to my brother, haha, Steve Jobs's cape!

He didn't get the joke.

guys I have the BEST solution! I just totally found a website where we can all hang out, pass time, and not even think about what apple has done today, it's called Twitter! :p lmao

like I said in my last post, I'm bored, it's 1:15am my time and I'm tired and I just don't want to sleep before I watch the keynote so expect some lame jokes coming up later on :p

Um, no... I went there on purpose. Why don't you learn the definition of "fail" before you try to insult someone with it.

Well you said you cheated, which implies we're all competing. Going to apple.com does not get you to the goal we are trying to reach. Thus..FAIL! :D

I'm just messing around. I really do appreciate people in the know like you not spoiling it and helping us intentionally ignorant.

So while we're waiting for the keynote and whatever they announce in it: What products/services/innovations are you looking forward to in the future? Are you waiting for some kind of new hardware, or just a refresh of iMac/MacBook etc.? Or something entirely different?

Personally I can't wait to get the first glimpse or at least information about Mac OS X 10.7.
I recently bought a new iMac and am extremely happy with it. So right now I really just care about new software.
Oh and I'm waiting for a new universal dock that comes with the new aluminum remote! :)

just venting ... but why?

why in this day and age? there's no reason. i can understand non-concurrence, i guess, if i try. but why not five seconds afterwards? no reason. so infuriating.
Agreed. It seems like it would be in Apple's best interest to have it up almost immediately. Perhaps they should post a rough edit immediately (or at least as close as possible), then a better edit a few hours later.

hm okay i know i won't do it but i know how to kill the messernger =D ...i'll divide the keynote by 0 and BOOOM there you are

seems very risky Sir...

Eh, ecogeek and treehugger are comparatively slow when it comes to posting news. I ended up reading Green Car Congress too and that was fine.

On the plus side, I'm getting more work done than I otherwise would have today ;) (had I watched it I would have been posting comments in the threads and started writing a blog entry about my thoughts, but since I don't have any thoughts about it yet, well I cant do any of that, so its back to PHP I go...).

My friend told me I'm going to be disappointed. That's all I would let him say.

He's a PC guy so take his comment with a grain of salt.

I just remember how people were all mad about the iPhone's lack of physical keyboard, maybe its something like that.

hahahahhaha

yeah.. i almost made that mistake earlier..

I'm sure that #iBike or #iHouse or #iWhatever is one of the top trending topics on Twitter.

Hey guys, another guy from Holland. ;)

It's nice to see some familiar names again. I never see any of you, only when we're waiting for these keynotes to finally become available.

It's just past midnight here and fortunately I have no alarm tomorrow, so I'll wait until it's online.

This is going to be a great night, as we get to watch two of the best speakers of the world making announcements: Steve Jobs and Barack Obama.

I'll be waiting. Last time someone seeded a torrent with the keynote, let's see if we can do that again if necessary. :)

LOL, if you were playing Scrabble with me, all words must have the letter i before them!

I've been hanging out on twitter and have yet to see any real spoilers (just the name). But, I'm not following any big tech geeks or anything that would potentially post specs or details.

Im said the same thing earlier, i got way more done today by having no email, AIM and other talking heads distracting me and killing my productivity. I used to code but now i elance that out ;) ....then fix their errors.

Apple would never do that. Steve's attention to detail is so extreme I'm sure he even oversees the editing of the keynote video.
There's no reason for apple to post a link right away. It wouldn't get more people to buy anything new.
What get's people to buy it, are the product news on apple.com which usually are updated DURING the keynote.

I guess you're right. I wish you were wrong, though. :(
