haha very nice! clever thinking.

Does anyone have a list of non-tech sites I can read until its posted? I already checked out all my environmental sites (autoblog green, ecogeek, treehugger, etc).

completely losing my patience.. so hard .. to resist the urge to go to apple.com... or facebook.. or news.com.au... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

dont think I can do it!

Yeah, I was originally going to be spoiler-free this time, but I turned on CNN and they showed a video clip of the event and what was announced there. =( Oh well. I'll also be posting the link to the stream. You know it's also in the iTunes Podcast under "Apple Keynotes", you can just keep checking that instead of waiting for someone to post the link here.

I was going to look at HuffPost but even they may be corrupted by whatever was in the keynote so if I were you, play it safe because even non-tech sites may include reference to the keynote.

Guys - I'm also periodically checking the "Apple Keynote" podcast.

For those that would like to do so, here's how I've got my iTunes setup to be pretty spoiler free:

- Click on "Podcasts" in the left-hand menu (Library) menu
- Do "Apple-J" on your keyboard to bring up "View Options" (or alternatively go to "View" -> "View Options")
- Uncheck everything (especially Description and Time)
- Go to the "Podcast" column header at the top and drag it ALL the way to the left (this will really minimize the podcast name as well)
- Then all that's left is the release date (which is fine) so you can run "Update Podcast" to see when the 1/27/10 keynote gets posted

Supposedly (from claims made by others in this forum), the podcast is posted sooner than the Keynote and I need it ASAP because it is becoming almost IMPOSSIBLE to avoid spoilers! :)

Oh, don't do this insane spoler-stunt, you might end up causing apocalypse*.

This is the URL to podcast's XML:
http://www.apple.com/podcasts/apple_keynotes/apple_keynotes.xml

If what you say is true, then this is the place where you can find the link earliest. (you might still glimpse the name of it, so stay cautious.)

* Which you won't, otherwise we wouldn't have guests from 23rd century in this thread.

..... which was quoting God. ;)

LOL'd.

just venting ... but why?

why in this day and age? there's no reason. i can understand non-concurrence, i guess, if i try. but why not five seconds afterwards? no reason. so infuriating.

You guys are really out of the loop. :) I'll post the link also, since I cheated and went on Apple.com.

(groggily awakens from sleep) Hmm? What happened? I miss something?

EDIT: Oh, I get it now. he will post the link when it gets posted.
