Yeah because Macs never cra

mheyy1.jpg

I have owned an iMac and a MacBook Pro and have never seen that screen in 4 years. I also double as a computer tech for my parents who have owned an iMac and a MacBook for a year and a half and I have never seen it on their computers either.

I wouldn't say Windows 7 is crap. It's actually pretty good considering. Better than the last couple of Windows builds.

Windows 7 is definitely shaping up to be the best version of Windows ever. It's so good I am actually considering switching back to the Microsoft platform. Like a lot of Mac users, I spend the majority of my time in bootcamp anyway running a Windows OS just so I can run the best software.

I could sell my old Macs, buy brand new PCs with the money and have still have change.

But I will wait for the final version of Windows 7 to hit retail before I make a decision. Microsoft has a history of messing things up in the final stages of the development process.

I doubt a lot of Mac users spend most of their time in Windows. I love the Mac OS X, it just looks so much better than Windows IMO. Everything is better about it, the only good thing about Windows is the games.

that just proves how crap Windows is, if Microsoft use Mac OS X to make their commercials lol
Yep. And on top of that, their ads are desperate. Microsoft is the software giant, and yet they feel that they need to keep bashing Mac with their misleading ads in order to stay on top of the competition.

How misinformed can you get. You obviously haven't spent much time around here.

Tell us what this "best" software is, I feel like a laugh.

Windows 7 looks beautiful. I'm in love with the new Windows taskbar. :) I agree every Windows version before has looked horrible in comparison to the elegance of the Mac user interface.

Where's your evidence of your "Mac virus"?

Wow nice troll!

Lets see, just registered. Win7 is great. Mac users spend most of their time in bootcamp anyway. Windows has the best software(ahahahaha!). Macs are really expensive and you could buy lots of new PC's and still have money left over.

Did you miss any other talking points for your astroturfing? Maybe you forgot about how great the Zune Marketplace is?

Yeah, I agree with that. I dual booted my iMac with the Windows 7 RC, and I do have to admit it looks great. It is also really fast compared to vista that I had previously dual-booted it with.

With that said, I think Snow Leopard will probably still blow Windows 7 out of the water. But I bet Windows 7 will stop a lot of people from switching to mac simply because it doesn't suck as bad as vista.

LOL. Yes, far too transparent, he's definitely one of the least experienced trolls we've had so far.

I think I've only had 1 kernel panic in 2 years...but it's funny that you mention the kernel panics on a hackintosh. I think when I used the hackintosh (which is what got me interested in Apple products to begin with) I got it at least 4 times...but that's not Microsoft's fault.

But these ads were good - they're poignant. People say that the Microsoft ads are better because they target what the consumer wants - low price. But if you think about it, most people I know already own a computer (probably a PC) and they are thinking about price, sure, but they're also thinking about getting one that hasn't been so much of a hassle as the one they own is.

I'm not a "Windows/Microsoft troll".

1. I own several Mac computers and love them.
2. I do use bootcamp all the time. Office on the Mac is horrible, I use the Windows versions. I use Napster subscriptions and the Napster software doesn't run on the Mac platform.
3. Mac OS is more beautiful than Windows in every previous release. Windows 7 has closed the gap dramatically in the cosmetics department. I like both now.
4. Zune is a joke. I would never use one and neither their marketplace.
5. I switched to Mac after using Vista for a week. It's the worst OS I have used since Windows ME forced me to migrate to Windows 2000.
6. I do like Windows 7 and I think it's a very good operating system. But as I said, we can only judge it when the final version is released.

Those are the facts.

Is it not possible to like both platforms? Funnily enough when I post on Paul's winsupersite I get accused of being a Mac troll.

I think everyone should keep in mind that ya'll are starting to get on the teetering edge of fanboyism. And sure he started it, but like...there's no reason to continue it. Make your points and move on...

Thanks for the late night laugh. :D I loved the viruses and crashing part when they all walked away. I will say though that I have had kernel panics in the past, but usually there was something that I did that contributed to it. But I digress.

Yes Windows 7 is very fast even on low-spec netbooks.

No doubt Snow Leopard will add cool things that Microsoft will need to copy in a future release. Apple always does that.

And your point about marketshare is valid too. The higher-priced Apple products will be a lot less compelling if Microsoft manages to avoid messing up Windows 7 in the next few months of the RC. I myself turned my home into a mini Mac warehouse because Vista was so horribly bad and I was sick of XP.

I'll probably never sell my MBP its too damn sexy. :)
