Honestly I think even they know it's a luke-warm update. I would only upgrade for the cameras at this point but then again, they are still only 12mp. Same form factor, ugly camera bump, and then software updates. YAWN. Why can't they figure out a way to get rid of that camera bump or come up with SOME better way aesthetically to present 3 lenses? It's just so messed up.

I think the battery life will motivate some that didn't otherwise plan to upgrade.

4K at 60 FPS takes 400Mb per minute. That’s more than 2 hours of footage on 64Gb.
Technically 4K @ 60FPS is 179 GB per minute and a 2 Hour movie would be 21.5 TB uncompressed. 400MB/MIN is roughly the same as Netflix HD and they are only broadcasting 1920x1080@25FPS compressed. So that is some heavy compression Apple is doing to the "4K60FPS" video.

It doesn’t matter. That’s how much space it takes to record it on an iPhone. If someone is shooting on iPhone it will take 400mb per minute.

Really? iPhone pro? If you have a iPhone X or XS, no need to upgrade to a phone that looks the same, has the same screen without the fancy name, one extra camera lens, and a slightly not noticeable processor speed. Put a 11 next to a 10 and try to tell the difference. Same for the apple watch from the 4.

The iphone 11 (XR+) is actually a better deal. Aside from it's low spec screen. Really Apple, you couldn't give it a higher PPI screen? But they did drop the price. Actually not bad. Surprised.

People actually clap for this so called "Pro' model? The friggin screen is exactly the same, spec wise. Calling it "Pro" and hope they don't notice? Lol.

They just threw more jargon in the name. Are people duped this easily? Wow.
That's me. I have an iPhone XS coming from an iPhone 6s last year. Best decision ever. Personally this year's iPhones are not worthy of an upgrade unless you have an iPhone 6/+, iPhone 6s/+.

I’m mostly disappointed by the matt finish and the lack of 3D Touch :( I prefer a shiny look and it’s more sticky than matt.

My 10 months old Xs Max is amazing, the battery’s capacity only a few days ago turned 99%.
The trade-in value for my 512GB model is only £470 which is quite annoying because the trade-in value for my iPhone X 256GB last year was £550. What the actual ****?

Where did MacRumors get the cover shot of the phones from, I don't see no Blue in the keynote or :apple: Event, is this from Mock-Ups?o_O:D - Scratch that I see it's the XR, only reason I noticed was I can't believe they don't have one. On the vid demoing the 11 video capabilities there were 3 cars, blue, red & yellow, in SJ's day, this wouldn't have been the case!:)

Quadrupling the storage is $150 more on the iPhone 11 Pro and doubling it on the iPhone 11 is only $50....but Apple EVIL! Whatever.
You're a prime example that got hooked by psychological marketing bait.
Instead of raising the bottom line up to 128GB, they do some scummy tactic I expect an Android company would do.

Apple is "evil" for a poor precedent.

One can only hope they don't start omitting the 512GB SSD option on Macs to inflate the difference.

The matte is more sticky. It’s microtextured.

Why are some of you making excuses for the 64gb model? After all the apps and storage iOS will take up especially over time, you're not going to have 64gb. iOS continues to get larger and larger everytime it gets new features and 64gb isn't gonna cut it. Good luck updating your 64gb phone when a new version of iOS is released.

That type of horrible naming scheme worked for Samsung’s sales. I used to make fun of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ or whatever it’s called in a given year because of the long, weird name. iPhone 11 Pro Max is just as bad.
yeah, since they are calling it Pro, they could have left the numbers off of it and just called it iPhone Pro, then next year have the iPhone Pro 2.

Uh, no...I have needed 128GB since the iPhone 6 after the great iPhone 5 32GB Debacle of 2012. Haven't needed more than that ever since.

Solid lineup all ready for the Christmas quarter.

Great battery life improvements and aggressive pricing for iPhone 11.

To be honest beyond the 3 front row staff cat calling, whistling and cheerleadering ... I'm VERY annoyed with hearing every year

"This is by far the very BEST iPhone we've ever made" ! By default it SHOULD be jackass Tim! If you're relasing a product not better than the last, ahem 2014 Mac Mini fiasco and 2013-2018 Mac Pro TrashCan Then you don't deserve to be a CEO and it doesn't give ya right to proclaim "best iphone we've ever made" just actually DO IT!

Apple has done it again ... killed off the previous years top tier device in order to give the bottom end iPhone ability to make sales!

Looks like I"ll be on the lookup for a quality used 256GB iPhone XS Space Grey next month.

Two lenses have been bad design. Even worst now with 3 lenses. I am glad, iPhone 8 still use 1 lens. The most aesthetic design IMO.

$699 isn't bad. But if you spec up, especially to the Pro models, it starts to get ridiculous.

I assume the camera bump is to house the more advanced features of the camera, without taking up internal space. But it still looks pretty ghastly.
