Why are some of you making excuses for the 64gb model? After all the apps and storage iOS will take up especially over time, you're not going to have 64gb. iOS continues to get larger and larger everytime it gets new features and 64gb isn't gonna cut it. Good luck updating your 64gb phone when a new version of iOS is released.

I don’t. My stance has always been “buy what you need”. Is it McDonald’s fault when you buy a meal without upsizing it and then complain that it’s too little for you?

Uh, no...I have needed 128GB since the iPhone 6 after the great iPhone 5 32GB Debacle of 2012. Haven't needed more than that ever since.
So you needed 128GB since iPhone 6 but you also don't need over 128GB?

You're SOL if you wanted that size since the iPhone X.

How does that analogy work when the full range of McDonald's meal sizes are available for you to choose...?

If they only sold kids (64GB), medium (256GB), and large (512GB) meal sizes and I wanted a small than your analogy would have made sense.

Like I said, buy the size which best suits your needs (likely the 256 gb model). Life’s too short to be fretting about nitty gritty stuff like this.

Yeah nice philosophical pass...

And to those where 128GB best suit their needs?

It's funny how the entry pro models start with 64GB. If you would be a "pro" director and "record" a video in 4k 60frames it will hold for a couple of minutes footage. Clever as they are they don't offer 128gb so you have to go with 256. So it's only an entry model in theory but you actually have to buy at least the 256 version.

I'm going with the iPhone 11 128gb (currently 7) but still pissed that they don't even have a smaller version instead of this huge screen. 256gb pro is not worth the money.

Agree. The only reason I'd go for pro is, in-fact, the size. For everything else, 11 is perfect for me. But hey, have to live with that size now. I do think that industry has now normalized these giant phones. All android phones are also of similar size. iPhone 11 pro is probably among the smallest phones out there.

Prices have all gone up in UK

Expected, but the £ has devalued a lot thanks to Brexit.

No they haven’t.
iPhone 11 is priced at £729
The iPhone XR had been £749

XR was $749 USD and Priced at £749
Now the 128 GB iPhone 11 is $749 and priced at £779.

So Clearly there were adjustment in UK pricing.

What I thought was that the pound didn't make much deviation in the past 12 months. I think Apple is hedging for a potential No-Deal Brexit.

Finally people have voted with their wallets. Apple just admitted with the pricing drop for 11 (non-Pro) that what they hoped to get did not really materialize. This year they are hoping to get all of the 6 and 6s users to get at least up to the XR.

Keep on voting with wallets and the company will adjust just like they did for non-Pro models now.

So $999 (which is about 991 swiss francs) turns into 1199.- swiss francs. Even if you add taxes that seems like a crazy rip off...

More money for UK.

Used be good value then it was 1-1 price and now it more. That all launch price. I was expecting stay 1-1 price not more increase. Keeping my iPhone 8 another year.

As a Pixel guy (I'm still on an original Pixel, for now), I would find these phones somewhat compelling if I was looking to switch to iOS. However, if I already owned an iPhone 8 or newer, I wouldn't find much reason to upgrade. Anecdotally, none of my family, friends or acquaintances who own an 8 or newer will be upgrading, or so they've said...

time to upgrade for me, but its hard to choose between iphone 8 and 11. I don't understand how people like to watch videos on that screen with a portion of the video cropped by the ugly notch.

Still SOOOOO frustrated that the XR and 'iPhone 11' is the 'budget' phone, yet in the middle size/dimensions. I would buy it 100% if they'd made it more the size od the 5/SE but edge to edge screen. As it is, it's just too damn big still. :(

Awesome, truly Professional phone made for serious business use only. None of that consumer crap... Seriously, Apple doesn’t have full understanding of their own naming conventions. They just call something Pro because they can and not because it’s targeted to certain user segment.

Regarding the actual product, it’s ugly as hell. If hopeless has been like Nokia can stick five cams to a phone and make it look good than Apple should have no problem doing that with three. Hell, my iPhone XS just became a thing of beauty.

Yeah been looking around to confirm that, £50 from last year's model. That's not on, passing on the Chinese tariffs to other countries?

EU has same prices. Apple probably expects some additional costs due to Brexit.

I'm in for a new iPhone as I'm still using a SE. But those prices, it's ridiculous. It's just a f**ing phone albeit a powerful one. But I don't need that much power on my phone for my social media, my browsing, my navigation, my streaming video, my occasional game and oh yes, calling. The SE is already sufficiently powered already to do just that. What do I gain over my SE with those overpriced phones? Galileo support? Well, the 8 supports it already. Larger screen? I actually don't want a larger phone. Better camera. Yup - but when taking pictures, I prefer to use my fabulous Fuji XT.
When I drop my SE, I guess I'll just buy another SE on Craigslist or Ebay. It would then be my fourth already.

I was in exactly the same position really, a bit "meh" about all the new iPhones coming out - this new batch does little more for me, even worse styling. Like the green and red at least but that's about it. I still have my SE but the battery is at the flaky stage so can't rely on it. I bought a Samsung S10e about 6 months back for £500 new and couldn't be happier really, does everything I ask of it, still has headphone jack, rarely finish a day with less than 50% battery and can drag/drop files rather than the needing nightmare of iTunes. Screen and speakers also great.

Apple are really dropping off my radar rapidly, under the skin tech is top notch but other aspects have been treading water at best for years now. Maybe the post-Ive period will rejuvenate things...
