I know there's a large group of MR members here who would love to see it, but I don't think Apple will ever do that.I'd love Apple to bring back the 17" MacBook Pro.

Prepare to be disappointed.
They will announce two, MAYBE three things, spend an hour on "filler" speeches no one wants to hear, then leave the rest of the product line to rot.
Apple's too entrenched in their traditions to so much as raise an eyebrow anymore...
(Full disclaimer: I really hope I'm wrong.)![]()
Apple has hit a very rough patch in the past month. If they don't renew the whole Mac line and put out that monitor, they will have a worse slide into early 2017.After yesterday.... it really needs to be something special.
Some of that "amazing product in the pipeline" seriously needs to get out!

Nice,
I usually head into the office on Thursdays, but with the media event, I suddenly had an issue at home that required me to stay here
Now I can watch and not look over my back
I'm not terribly worked up over Skylake, but I hope we see some newer designs, to freshen up the product lineI'm 99% sure that its gonna be let down big time in terms of ports and skylake.
Before anyone says it, of course they can update the store without taking it offline. They do it for hype, and it works so they'll continue to do this.
