Another quality service! I hope we'll see Tim bragging about polish cloth sales figures in the upcoming event.

We decided to not include a cloth in the box for environmental reasons and make it an optional purchase, and sales have exceeded our wildest expectations. We couldn't thank our customers enough (stops speaking outwardly but continues to speak inwardly) for being so ... (smiles wickedly).

Apple Cloth is the best polishing cloth for your precious Apple displays - from the Watch to the Pro Display XDR.

To better serve our users, Apple Cloth is now available in three sizes - the regular Apple Cloth size that was good for nothing more than a Watch display anyway, the Apple Cloth Pro with size that is geared for your iPhone displays including the mini and Pro Max, and a third Apple Cloth Pro Max with XCP (extreme cleaning properties) for your iPad, MacBooks, iMac and standalone Pro Display XDR.

Apple Cloth: USD 19
Apple Cloth Pro: USD 29
Apple Cloth Pro Max XCP: USD 49

We believe our customers will love these new polishing cloths designed with hallmark Apple engineering to best clean your Apple displays.

I know it's easy to make fun of this product, but genuinely these cloths are made of exceedingly premium materials that will clean and protect your precious devices. Other cloths literally fall part the moment you use them, scratching up your screens and leaving dangerous residues on the surface. Paying $19 to avoid this catastrophe is well worth the money.

Most of us spend thousands of dollars on Apple devices every year. Is dropping $100 on a few exceedingly premium cleaning cloths really a bad investment to protect those devices?

I certainly wouldn't trust me $4000 MacBook Pro with some $1 cloth i found on Amazon. Nor my iPhone. Nor my iPad. Nor my Apple Watch. I only use Apple Cloth now and I am absolutely satisfied with the seamless experience across all my devices.

Are you in marketing?

Naaa you likely need a air purifier also if you got dust all over. :p
Best of all, it’s from Apple, and can connect to your iPhone iPad and Mac automatically to intelligently manage its working cycle to provide best air purifying experience. AI powered too.
How come it ran out of stock when it is not directly affected by chip shortage?
Because apple fans are insane?

I will use it to polish my blue imessage bubbles for an even bluer shine.

You like it, buy it. You don't like it, don't buy it but let's not belittle people's personal preference here.

I use these for my glasses and MBP - they work a treat, a little ‘huff’ on the screen and a polish with one of these is by far the best clean I’ve managed in 15 years of using MBPs. Cheap too!

Muji Lens cloths

I actually need a screen cloth and whilst the Apple one is tempting and I’m familiar with paying over the market rate for Apple products - come on!

Seriously, does anyone have any good alternatives that won’t scratch the screen or leave moisture marks?
Yes torro cloth on Amazon

Is that seriously a thing? I've never ever heard of a scratched screen because of cheap cloth. That doesn't mean that it doesn't exist, but I've wiped plenty of Macbooks over time incl my LG Ultrafine 5K monitor and I've ever never seen (or heard) anything close to an issue with whatever I'm doing it with.

So, I admit that I ordered it together with my macbook pro, minutes after the keynote ended. My reasoning was, remembering that the screen surface of the Apple’s separate monitor needed a special cloth, to be sure that cleaning wouldn’t damage the screen of the laptop. All for a minimal amount considering the laptop investment. Well, it works as designed. I have no idea whether a generic microfiber cloth would work as well.

I’ve just ordered one, interested to see how well it cleans.

Lots of Apple accessories are a rip-off really, Watch straps, smart folio cases etc etc.

As with the Mac stainless steel wheels I think this products price is designed to get people talking and reinforce Apples brand strength……mission accomplished.

If it had been priced at a more realistic £8.00 price point it would have flown under the radar, sold less and not generated discussion.

Fitting that the author is „macrumors bot“, because no living thing should write the headline
