LOL @ that price and LOL @ anyone willing to get swindled like that. Cult of brand has to be really strong to pay 20 bucks for a piece of cloth.

Macrumors, you’re sorely misjudging what constitutes ‘Mac news and rumors I care about’
See bolded in your post:

Not every article/rumor/announcement conforms to what you want to read or care about. That’s not how this site works.

Although I understand why the polishing cloth is not desirable by everyone, for some of us, it’s appreciative letting us know when it was in stock.

I've had a terrible couple of years and 2022 has been even worse so far, but this has cheered me up heaps.

I ordered mine on 12/25 and it's out for delivery today! Can't wait to clean EVERYTHING with it. I'm going to detail my car.

EDIT: Arrived!

It's comically tiny.

Serious answer: It came with my Pro Display XDR (I’m a filmmaker) so I can say with some authority that it’s (obvi) not worth it for most people.

It was designed for nano-textured glass because it won’t shed fibers that can get trapped in the tiny pores of that surface. To me it feels more like rubber than microfiber.

Price makes sense only for those needing a replacement cloth for their nano textured glass displays and iMacs - since regular microfiber cloths may damage the glass.
I am thinking of trying one to use on my 2017 iMac screen. I currently use one of those Magic Fiber cloths I purchased from Amazon, but it doesn't quite catch all the dust on the screen, and smudges take a lot of rubbing to clear. I figure I'd give it a try, and if it doesn't work better than what I have, I'll return it. This may also work well with my glasses?!

Another quality service! I hope we'll see Tim bragging about polish cloth sales figures in the upcoming event.
