Serious question - anyone with a Peloton use these cloths? It's an amazing screen, but I get crazy scared of using any microfiber simply because I don't wanna scratch it. How good a job does it do from the Peloton screens? (Think I know that answer, just wanna be sure.)
You are definitely the target market for this polishing cloth.

I had an Apple gift card burning a hole in my Apple Wallet app so I pulled the trigger. It will be delivered on Thursday. I think I have a couple of other Apple polishing cloths. One came with my Thunderbolt Display. Another one came with some random MacBook years ago. They don't have an Apple logo though...

Edit: It occurs to me that the one that I thought came with my Thunderbolt Display actually came with my ADC Cinema Display.

Been waiting for this to be back in stock, Was desperate on a camping trip and Oh My is it soft...

This seems quite pricy. Are there any great alternatives out there that you guys can recommend, that will do just as good of a job?
If you’re serious about it, I would look at purchasing what professional detailer‘s use for microfiber cloths. They’re a little pricey, but it will last you forever and you don’t need to use any sprays/cleaners, [which you shouldn’t anyways], and you probably wouldn’t even have to wash it, given if you’re just using it for a MacBook.

Start by searching Amazon for professional use, and you’ll see what I’m referring to, but look for a higher thread-count, that’s a crucial aspect when buying anything quality microfiber.

I actually need a screen cloth and whilst the Apple one is tempting and I’m familiar with paying over the market rate for Apple products - come on!

Seriously, does anyone have any good alternatives that won’t scratch the screen or leave moisture marks?
Costco yellow microfiber.

I just moisten a towel with water and use that. Done this for years, never had an issue. Use the damp bit to clean then the dry bit to polish it off.

All jokes aside. The cloth is very good. Overpriced, but the best polishing cloth I have ever used.

I'll wait for a 5-pack, priced at $79, so I'll get one cloth for free. Well, almost free, unless Apple surprises us with $75.

Must be me. I couldn’t care less nor will judge what anyone chooses to do with their own money or what Apple chooses to make available in their product line.

Want a 20 dollar cleaning cloth? Knock yourself out.

Want 700 dollar wheels for your computer? Have fun with it.

I just don’t understand the overly judgmental nonsense from some people who can’t stay in their own malcontent lane. Buy (and do) what makes you happy and don’t worry about other people.

Maybe there’s my answer. The hole in their soul is only filled by judging and attacking what others choose to do with their life.

/Rant complete.

Same here.

Sadly, it's always about who can come up with the best juvenile burn. A race to the bottom.

I don’t disagree with you, but I am curious to know why you think it’s the best cloth you’ve ever used. I will say though, I do think it should be a little bit larger, given that this particular cloth seems more appropriate for the size of an iPhone display.

Good God, it's THAT small? And it was made for monitor cleaning?! lol See, THIS is the kind of material I'm looking for.

I couldn't sleep. I couldn't eat. Thank you for bringing it back in stock! Now I can breath a sigh of relief knowing it's available, but I'm not even using the polishing cloth provided for my XDR monitor. lol

This Polishing Cloth isn’t magical. It’s not a true advancement in textile technology. It’s not even breathtaking. I spent $19 on a small piece of cloth. I’m clearly an idiot.

What I mean is that it is more effective at cleaning the screen. It seems to polish my 2021 MBP screen so well it looks brand new. Other microfibre cloths I have used smudge the fingerprints etc around a lot but almost never get it back to crystal clear.

I don't think it's too small. its 2x the width of my iphone 13 pro and about the same height so its oversized for an iphone and perfect for a laptop.

I ordered mine on 12/25 and it's out for delivery today! Can't wait to clean EVERYTHING with it. I'm going to detail my car.
EDIT: Arrived!
