they’ve called it a modular mac since the very first rumors came out that Apple was ditching the trashcan. So the term stuck, but yeah, it’s just an upgradable tower like any other.

Makes no difference to me. I'm not expecting a Mac Pro present for Christmas. However, I''ll likely be ordering one and XDR display when it goes online for purchase; whether it's Dec 1st or Dec 31st is mice nuts for me.

Any support would be through MacOS so I would say doubtful.

Adobe on macOS has fully embraced Metal. Performs better than CUDA did in nearly all instances in latest versions.

Not to be that guy, but it’s pretty funny Apple made people wait years then said they would release the Mac Pro in 2019, and now they are probably going to release it at the very end of 2019.

Knowing Apple, all of the configurations probably won’t even be available and delivered until February or March.
