Rosetta is indeed in 10a432. I have MS Office 2004 running just fine in SL. If Rosetta is not yet installed and a PPC app is launched, the the os will ask if you want to install Rosetta (no disk required).

Current version of ArchiveMac doesn't work on SL due to some SL bugs. Intend to release an update Friday or soon after with Snow Leopard support.

The makers of Reunion 9 are advising users to hold off on installing Snow Leopard until they release their free update which will ensure compatibility. I received an email with the following information:

On August 28, 2009 Apple will be delivering Mac OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard." This upgrade from Apple introduces a few incompatibilities with Reunion 9.

To address these problems, we will be releasing a free update for Reunion 9 users. This update will be named "Reunion 9.0a"

If you use Reunion regularly, we urge you to delay the installation of Snow Leopard until you download and install the free Reunion update, version 9.0a.

During the week of August 31, the free maintenance update will be available here.

If you have questions about Snow Leopard, please visit Apple's Web Site.

Can someone elaborate on Office '08 being "slow"? I can't update to SL until that is resolved.

Good thing I'm not a first adopter...

I only have FW CS4 and Bridge CS4. Everything else is CS3. I can't really justify the expense of all-CS4 right now. Business is picking up, but I have some bills to get caught up on...

Oh, well, Snow Leopard can wait.

At least when I do upgrade, it'll give me a reason to jettison Quark 7, which a client bought me for his project. I hate Quark.

Cyberduck doesn't work here. I've been using Transmit, though I prefer my little internet-enabled rubber ducky friend.

no issues with Office 2008 here.

but my Sierra Wireless 881 USB card no longer works. The native driver is no longer compatible, and knowing Sierra Wireless it will take at least 6 months to fix it if at all.

When I finished my upgrade it told me that srs iWOW premium didn't make the transition and was moved to an "incompatible applications" folder. I said, "**** that", and moved the plugin back into the folder where it belongs. Opened iTunes. It works. Voila.

SRS iWow definitely works on SL.

What DOESN'T WORK:

ElectricSheep Screensaver

LiveScribe Pulse Smartpen Software

InsomniaX and Caffeine doesn't seem to work for me. Guess I have to sleep and wake my computer when I want to use it in "clamshell mode"

Do these apps work with Snow Leopard?

BBedit 9.2.1
Quickbooks 2009r7 for mac
Audacity 1.3.8
Adobe Lightroom 2.4
MAMP Pro 1.7.2
StuffIt Deluxe 2009
VueScan 8.5.01
Transmit 3.6.7
Pacifist 2.6

Thanks

Office 2008 works without any problems for me on Snow Leopard.

The installer requires rosetta for some reason, but I'm guessing that was the same in Leopard. (only the installer requires it, not office itself, and if you haven't installed rosetta snow leopard will download it for you, it's only a couple of mb's) Office runs just as fast as it did in leopard (maybe faster).
The autoupdate couldn't find any updates for me, but by manually downloading the service packs from the mactopia website I could upgrade to 12.2.1 without any problem.

Yea but this is our personal experiences with some apps that we have and use because not everything is on that list but it is quite extensive.
