speed download
saft

these don't work with 64-bit safari. it's easy enough to run 32-bit safari in the meantime...

vuze also doesn't work because of 64-bit java. there is a workaround to run 32-bit java. they are working on a fix using the new cocoa swt... give it a few weeks i guess...

Plex With Apple Remote

Plex.
It works but it's somewhat buggy. Scrolling works just fine but when hitting the center play button on your remote, it launches iTunes through Front Row. There's more info here.

Just got an email from Orbicule, the makers of Undercover, they say that they will release a new version very soon that will be compatible with Snow Leopard.

I looked for Zipeg but cant find anyone if this will work with SL or not.

Anyone have an idea?

It hasn't been updated in a long time and there is no word from the developers. However it's only shareware, so if someone with SL could download the demo and try it out, that would be great.

I have 10,000 digital comics and I really need CBL to work!

Zipeg is working just fine for me; however, I'm using the last developer release, not the the shipping version of 10.6. I'd be very surprised if it suddenly stops working properly.

on my Mac mini quicksilver is working, however on my leopard machine it shows the opening animation and then does not work.

neither does Chax or Logitech Control Center.

USB overdrive is said to release in a few days on their site.

just got quicksilver to work by clearing out the cache, however you cannot change it's preferences. it does not work. so now i have an annoying icon in my dock!
