Most definitely! I've dropped my Galaxy S4 more times than I can count and, thanks to my Otterbox and Zagg screen protector, there's not even a scratch on it!

I just hope they won't interfere with the NFC credit card thing or cause the iPhone to overheat.

My favorite cases of all time were the Incase brand that were 2 pieces and met in the middle of the device.

Do they still make hard plastic type cases anymore? I do not like the flimsy silicon type ones that seem to be more common now a days.

I will be getting a Mophie case when it is announced. I would not be able to go through a regular day without this case in my 5s.
So I am sure that this will hold true with my 6+.
I might pick up a Spingen neo hybrid champagne gold for weekends

None of the cases I like are available yet. Don't these companies know that we want the cases on launch day also?

You would have to drop that thing "perfectly" to mess it up.

Not really. There are effectively six sides of the phone. Most frequently that my wife (I say my wife because she is terrible, I almost never drop my phone since I am anal to the point of ridiculous) drops here phone it is landing on one of the sides. Soe depending on how you see it, you either have a 1/6 or 1/4 of hitting that naked part of your phone with a drop.

Anyway, regardless of my chances, if I am going to put a case on my phone, I am doing so because I want complete protection. Outside of that it is merely an accessory to me.

I really liked the protection and style last year's Apple leather case provided. To my knowledge, we hadn't seen leather like that before. I will probably get something like what you linked here. I used to be a huge fan of switcheasy too. Maybe I will see what they've got going on...

EDIT: Right now, apparently nothing (referring to switcheasy)

I got an Apple Leather with my 6+ order with a screen protector. I hope that does the trick.

For people that have used the leather case with their iphone 5. is the case a thick leather or is it a "plastic" case with leather wrapped around the outside? I want to make sure because I really dont like flimsy cases

ordered a Spigen Slim Armor from Amazon in Mint last night. Then will wait for Moshi to come out with their Ivisor for a screen protector.

Yes, and only because I want something with a kickstand.

Going to Apple Store for a midnight blue case after collecting my preordered iPhone 6 from my carrier as its in the same shopping mall hopefully they will have some left by then

Yea. I jumped for the $49 leather case for the 6+. Figured I could use when I want. Naked somedays, clothed others.

I don't know if Im going to use a case...I mean it looks so comfortable and nice....but at the same time I don't want to damage the camera when i put my phone down

And honestly the Apple iPhone cases aren't that nice, and you don't take advantage of the rounded edges...idk..?

I'm going to use a case at first; however, I'm going to buy the full body clear cover for the phone, so when I get sick of having a case on it, it'll still be safe from scratches.
