My iPhones have always been naked 99% of the time, but I use iPod socks when I need to slip them into something here and there.

Now that the iPod sock is juuuuust barely too small for the new iPhone 6, I bought a leather sleeve for those rare times.

Was planning on Apple's leather case... but it is beyond me why they didn't cover the bottom of the phone wiht that case. Last year's case, from Apple, was about the perfect case in my eyes...

I HATE cases where the top and bottom are open! What, exactly, is the point in THAT?! That's why I'm not getting the Apple case. Pretty untiiiiiiil you get to the bottom. No likey.

I am at a desk alot. All cases i've tried with the bottom covered aren't compatible with most if not all docks out there(there are a few docks but you use your own lightning cable and that gets ugly). On top of that they are pretty thin cases so it doesn't add much to the dimension of the phone. Sure it's not as protected as a full case but it's the middle ground between naked phone and a full on case.

If I had to guess why apple left out the bottom portion this time around it might be so that they can make their own dock and people can use their cover. Then again they could just make a dock compatible with a case that has the bottom portion covered. who knows

Totally understand. I had a case where I used to have to take the bottom off to dock it. But I've since purchased a Bluetooth/Wireless speaker (one for work, one for home) to solve that problem. And I just use the USB on my computer at work to charge; plug it in at home.

I love the thin look/feel of those cases and they definitely make some pretty ones, but they look almost...unfinished to me once on the phone.

This is my case from amazon. I want to try a clear case so I can see the beauty of the iphone 6+. Just hope it works okay.

I'm looking for a cheap nice case for the 6+ until I can find some really nice case that my $1000 baby deserves. Now there are not many case available for the 6+.

Try amazon. I should receive my cheap case Wednesday. I'll use it until I find something better.

I just got these today. The left one will be going back i'm sure. I liked the idea of the case being super thin but this thing is THIN. It will likely rip with normal use.

How is that airskin? I don't worry too much about dropping. I'm more concerned with scratches

It's very different. I can't say i've ever seen/felt a "case" like this. If you drop it i'm sure you'll still manage to dent the phone even with it on. Probably good enough for protecting from scratches when setting on a table or desk.

It literally feels thinner than a piece of paper. Only thing I can compare it to is the plastic that alot of things come packaged in that are hard to open. I'm afraid that with normal use and sliding in and out of a pocket and getting stuck on something will wear out the edges in no time.

Never used a case but will for my 6+ since I find the back antennas pretty ugly. I figure it will help resell value anyway since my phones tend to get banged up lol.

Spigen for now, clear. But I really like the fit, feel, and semi transparency of the Tech21 cases with D30. Top the glass with Zagg HD or Glass not sure which yet. In the summer it's Lifeproof for water protection. Finally, AppleCare, because replacing a $1000 phone and paying off what you still owe on the broken one is crazy.

Love the naked look (who doesn't ), but my cases have saved my phone at least 2 or 3 times, if not more.
