try these i had similar problems and discomfort, i am nothing to do with Soulwit but i purchased these off amazon a couple weeks ago they are marginally smaller than original airpod pro 3 tips and softer or flexible.im back to the same comfort of my airpods pro2 the photo shows medium and large side by side but hard to reflect size difference as it marginal but apple originals on left and soulwit is on right . the soulwit has better comfort which is the significant difference for me and reason for purchase.no difference in sound or noise cancellation performance.
i was going to order comply versions but previously used them and the material deteriorated badly in our summer heat after 2 months. i used medium previously on APP2 for a couple of years with no issues on APP3 i had to use small with original tips they were still slightly discomfort and loose. i can now use medium again which is a more secure fit and 150% better comfort the difference is substantial

I even wear these hooks so my AirPods don’t fall out during long runs, HIIT, or inverted yoga poses like down dogs !

I can't get the volume swipe to work consistently on the Pro 3s, nor could I on the Pro 2s, so I assume it's me.

Like @richard13, I just use the volume control on my watch.
My AirPods touch controls work great! If you’re looking for ear hooks, these $11 ones from Elago on Amazon (and you can get them for $8 with their 20% off) are fantastic for keeping them in place while still using the noise cancellation and touch features on AirPods Pro. The hooks have an arched design that makes it easy to keep them secure. Just make sure to pull them all the way up to the top of the AirPod stem so the touch sensors aren’t blocked! 🚫 They’re made of polycarbonate, so you can easily wipe them down after a workout.

I once tried those and they worked OK. But then I discovered CharJenPro - "foam ear tips" and have been using them ever since. Workout, skiing - never fell off, never felt any discomfort even after several hours. Now I have new APP3 and am waiting for new CharJenPro ear tips

Nice 👍 the reg tips I don’t have an issue with it but I use the hooks for extra security

I had the Pro 2 which I liked a lot. I ordered the Pro 3. So disappointed that I returned them. I didn't like the sound quality (lower gain et no real improvement on the sound quality) and I hated the buds. No matter what I did, the buds did not seal properly and the buds did not feel secure. I don't know what Apple did, but the Pro 2 tips were perfect. They messed with this one.

I’ve had my AirPods Pro 1 since launch and finally gotten the new AP3’s. The original AP has never fit my ears properly so i bought Comply foam tips for them right after getting them. To my pleasant surprise the new AP3 fits my ears perfectly! I switched to the S tips and can’t believe how comfortable they are to me. Fit is so good that I almost doesn’t feel them in my ears. I was worried after reading all the post about them being worse than AP1 and AP2.

I bought those for my APP 3 and they would not slip onto the stem. I slightly enlarged the hole and got them to slip on and fought them to slip off so I could charge the pods. I finally tossed them out in frustration. Maybe I should have tried snipping the holder instead but too late now. They advertise for APP3 but they simply don't fit well.

I've been able to use the swiping effectively but had it "fail" for me today when I tried using it. The problem for me is that it's not super clear how much pressure I have to apply while sliding. I'm nervous I'll pull the pod right out of my ear. Today, I just used the crown on my watch to raise the volume.
Thanks for the volume suggestion!! I live in a dry climate and as a senior my fingers are very dry. Touch ID never worked for me. Licking the finger works but is not acceptable. I do find better luck sliding the volume on the left side than the right side but your suggestion is much easier for me.

I can put them on bro.

They are just polycarbonate plastic ones so it isn’t as easy as silicone ones would be like but you just have to push them in harder

So I finally upgraded and gave my APP2 to a relative. I used them cold turkey, the trial by fire approach by trying them on my flight today. The combination of the new design and the tips made a world of difference with noise cancellation, it felt like the airplane was quite except for the occasional captain overhead remark. Didn’t get to test them out for sound quality but genuinely impressed with the noise cancellation and the fit. I should have bought these earlier.

Congrats. I never had an APP2 so I wouldn't know but the sound improvement over the APP1 is like night and day. I was having a little difficulty at first with them sounding "muddy" and over bass but once I realized the EQ in Apple Music on my iPhone could shape the sound to my liking there was no turning back!

The AirPods Pro 3 are better in every way except they are horribly uncomfortable in my ears. I returned them and got a new pair of AirPods Pro 2s and I'm just hoping they last a good long time, as I don't expect Apple will ever make new ones as comfortable again.

Ngl man you should have contacted Elago about a replacement. They sent me a new replacement from their hq in a nice envelope after mines discoloured after 4-5 months

hmm didn't realize they were that different. I know you've already returned, but next upgrade that you get give the comply tips a try, they seem very comfy to me.

Temped as my Pro 2’s that I purchased new in 11/24 the right pod isn’t taking a charge anymore. Just disappointed that they didn’t even last 2 years

That's a bit of unfortunate luck. My APP1 lasted for a few years and they still work. I went ahead and got the APP3 anyway because they do sound better.

Did you happen to purchase your APP2 on a credit card? Some cards have extended warranty protection.

I was skeptical of Pro 3. What an upgrade for me. The fit means I use the medium default tips and they have never fallen out. I had to use the large on the Pro 2 and they still never felt right and often fell out.

The NC on Pro 3 seems much better but yet to fly since getting them.

Very happy with Pro 3 despite the cost and the fact they use the same H2 chip.

I wonder if it depends on the ear shape. I heard people were very happy after upgrading from Pro 2 to Pro 3. ANC is super important to me, and I also had a fit problem (they would jump out of my ears if I smiled or something), so I thought I'd be happier with 3's. However, I feel like it's a downgrade for me. Maybe I need to test more tip combinations, or re-learn how to put them in my ear since it's a different shape.

Felt the same way when going from APP2. After a month or two they are tons better than before.
