I've been a Mac user since 1984. Came home from camp, and my mother surprised us with the original Macintosh. :D

I consider myself a Mac user who has an iPhone, not the other way around. :)

Used a Macintosh Performa back in the 90s but honestly Windows 95,98, 2000 was a lot better back then. Then I got an iPod which led me to getting a B&W G3 and Tiget OS 10.4 was lightyears ahead of Windows XP, been using Mac ever since.

the first computer i bought on my own was a little white iBook. my brother was the one that convinced me. i had a macbook next, which got handed down to my friend as her first computer ever...i use a macbook pro now - and i love it.

somewhere in between...i picked up an ipod or two and and iPhone 3G. Now i have an iPhone 4 and i love it, too!

I was never a Mac owner, until about 5 weeks after I got the 1st gen iPhone. My PC died and I loved the iPhone so much I said hey, I'll get a Mac. 3 Macs and 3 iPhones later I'll be apple for a while :D

Was always a Windows user....Windows 95 then the massive step up to XP but still hated using Windows. We used iMac g5's and iBook G4's in school for Business Studies and i instantly loved them. I bought an iPhone 3G in August 2008 then bought a cheap iBook G3 off eBay but that died only a few weeks back. I got the iPhone 3GS currently and hope to have iPhone 4 by end of August. I also now have the iPad. Will probably buy a new Mac in February once I start my nurse training at university. Yeah, over the years Apple have lured me in to their world...doubt I'll leave for such a long time either.

I consider myself a Mac user who also has an iPhone, not an iPhone user who has a Mac. I do this because I can see myself having a different phone, but not a different computer.

Macs in the 80's, PC in the 90's/college and then bought a MBP in '06 when they came out. I don't mind PCs for work, but at home it's all Apple, not a MS product in my house.

Same here. I've had a Mac (or Mac clone) of some type since 90/91, when I bought my first, a Performa 450. I really like my iPhone, but I bought one because of how much I love my Mac(s).

I have had first gen iPhone, 3GS, and I now have iPhone 4. I ordered my first Mac in the Macbook Pro back in April. Loved and loving all of them.

Had Apple II & IIe, but then chose Compaq portable over the Macintosh and used PCs/Windows ever since.

Owned all of the iPhones, though.

Macs in the late 80’s when they first came out, but then had to go to PC’s, since my first job only had PC’s. Finally came back to the Mac to develop for the iPhone. I have two PC’s and a MBP.

Im a mac user, but Ive been an iPhone user longer than Ive been a mac user.

+1, although I bought my ipod first in early 08, then the iphone 3G when it came out and then my macbook last year from my brother-in-law.

Yep, since 1995. Have to use a PC at work though and that's about 9 hours a day too long. Would never go back to using one full time.

OMG me too. I curse my Dell laptop every morning when it takes 20 minutes for it to startup and load and about every 10 min during the day when Outlook or Word stop responding. Battery life is soooo much better on the MacBook.

In addition to my Macbook, I have a home built desktop that I had planned to overhaul (well my dad will be doing it for me). I haven't used it in about a year so I actually could care less if it ever gets done! If I ever really need a desktop again, I'm more inclined to just get an iMac.

I really wanted a Mac back when I started college (really wanted a blue iBook) but my dad had no experience with Mac so he wouldn't get it for me. Had a pretty sweet home built desktop instead. Until I got my Macbook, he always has built my machines, dating back to the early 90s...Windows 3.1 style. We had a Commodore Pet too :) Actually still have it...my dad recently passed it along to my brother-in-law.

My son talked me into switching to Mac in '05. After that, I decided that if Apple ever came out with a cell phone, I'd be totally on board. Waited in line that first day and wouldn't switch either (iPhone or Mac) for the world. Even at the beginning, if I didn't know how to do something on the Powerbook, I'd just stop and think of what would be the simplest thing, and it was always that. Stuck on a PC at work and I hate the fool thing.

I switched from PC a couple of years ago. Now I run MS Office when needed under VMware Fusion on my MBP, which works great.
