I hear of some people getting their Premier order shipped with later then the 15th order dates. Both Premier and the regular order status report the correct date of the 15th and I ordered 7:30AM CST. It sucks that I sold my 3gs to be able to have the money on the 15th for my preorder, just to have them cancel the charge on my card and now I seem to be stuck as back-ordered. Feels like AT&T pretty much flipped me the bird on this. This $20 walmart phone just isn't cutting it and i'm starting to feel like I'll be stuck with it until mid-July.

Just checked my order status (for the umpteenth time) and finally got an update...says it shipped today, but under Qty Shipped...still says 0. Hope it means theres hope for a 24th delivery.
No confirmation email though...or tracking numbers, yet.
Do you work for UPS? I haven't seen them as a carrier yet.

2. How come you have 2 - Various SIM, 2 - Freight, and 1 - iPhone. Lol?
maybe i'm an idiot but how can you lookup a premier order on the regular order site? i try based on order number and it doesn't work. i try both phone numbers and neither work. any ideas? 
We're impatient, but I think we have every right to be. We wouldn't have pre-ordered if we hadn't thought that we could get a phone on launch day. The massive server problems AT&T had, combined with people being told that there was a cutoff during the day, has also left a lot of us feeling like we may have gotten screwed out of a launch day device because of AT&T's systems.
Having said that, I think the two of us are correct in saying that AT&T is literally just going through orders one by one, assigning tracking numbers and serial numbers to each individual order. I'm annoyed that they aren't going in order of when the pre-orders went through though (if they were, people that ordered after me wouldn't have tracking numbers right now while I don't).
Lol, nope. Don't work for them...I'm a college kid. lol As for all the different things on my order thing...i have no idea haha. When I was at AT&T they had to submit my order a few times because it wasn't working (putting it in as a number port from Verizon) so they gave me a brand new number and told me to bring the phone in when I get it to activate it with the ported number. Yea...there's a lot of BS to it.
Oh lol. Well that's weird, but alright then. And the UPS thing is even more weird. Anyone else have UPS for their phone? I've only seen/heard FDEX so far.

Use your mobile phone number instead of the order number. the 2 order numbers are a little different.
i tried that and it didn't work either.
edit: i got it to work! had to put in the ship to zipcode. it didn't work with the billing zipcode. odd. oh well, my says shipped as of 6/21. i ordered mine 7:42am CDT on 6/15.

Nope, still nothing. Tried calling them 3 times this afternoon and they aren't accepting calls.
Why on earth are you trying to call them? Clearly since people are reporting that "mine just switched to shipped" they are still in the process of packaging devices, so why on earth do you want to call them? Give them time to do their jobs.

I've been monitoring this blog all day trying to figure out when my Premier order was going to arrive. Interestingly, I placed an order the morning of 6/15 for one iPhone 4. When I check my Premier order status, only that one order appears. When I check through wireless.att.com/order_status it shows that I had ordered two phones.
I just got off the phone with AT&T Premier and found out some interesting information from the rep I spoke to. First off, he informed me that ALL PREMIER ORDERS WILL BE SHIPPED OUT ON OR AFTER 6/24 WITH ARRIVALS BEGINNING ON 6/25. He also informed me that there was some sort of glitch in the system and that I may end up receiving 2 different phones, despite the fact I only ordered one of them (both would be at the $299 upgrade price).
I really want my new phone on 6/24 which doesn't seem like it will happen, but 2 phones could be interesting. Has this happened to anyone else? Has anyone heard the same info about Premier orders shipping on 6/24?

I agree, I thought it was very odd as well. I pushed the rep harder on the question saying that I knew people were supposed to be receiving it on Thursday, and he said "I can't speak to other order methods, but I know for a fact that Premier orders will be shipped out on 6/24 for arrival on the 25th. Kept trying to ask him in different manners the same question, and kept getting the same answer!
i agree.they probably are doing everything manually...given the fact of how BACKWARDS a company like ATT is...i called the customer rep earlier and she also told me that yeah..they go off of when the order was placed, not the order date that shows when you check your order status. and she did say it was first come first serve. so maybe, like the other person said..."THEY JUST HAVEN'T GOT TO OURS YET" . I SEEN A PATTERN OF MOST OF THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE GOTTEN THEIRS SHIPPED SO FAR, ORDERED THEIRS IN THE WEE HOURS OF THE MORNING OF THE 15TH. also im a new customer, so i don't know if that plays a role. im confident i'll get mine on the 24th, because since i had my order number....not once has it been on back ordered status...im done checking every 5 minutes to see any updates. im sure they'll get to it when they do...and it'll be here on the 24th..afterall, they did say they will ship OVER NIGHT!!..so settle down little pups, we still have 48 working hours to get shipments on our phones...im sure these work horses for ATT are working serious overtime ....stay optimistic my lads.
well dang, I ordered mine on 6/15 at 4:30 PM est through premier, my order status shows I ordered on 6/16 (not sure why), and my order status still shows backordered. Guess I am out of luck?

I placed my ordered around 1 CST on the 15th but for some reason my debit card didn't go through when they tried to process it. I had to call back the next day and when they ran it again it went through fine.
Mine, like others, says the order was processed on the 16th, but I placed the order on the 15th. It all depends on if they go by when the order was placed or when my debit card went through.
It currently still says In Progress and it has 0 under shipped and back-ordered.
I guess I'll just have to keep waiting...

[/Mine was ordered at 1:29pm EST at an AT&T store (as a new member), got the confirmation email that it was ordered at 5:09pm EST, and my order says shipped today. Don't think it's just people who ordered really early. There's hope.
nice..then i should probably be soon, cus i ordered mine on the 15th around 1:20 pm PST or so....
