Have any of you seen that your order shipped and you have a tracking number and all but still haven't received an email saying that your order was actually shipped?

No email, yet when I checked my status it shows shipped. but the quantity shipped field still shows 0 even though I was provided a tracking #.
 
I took one for the team and was on hold for 30 minutes for Premier Customer Service (btw, 1-866-499-8008, wait for prompts #2, #3, #0).

Ordered before 8:00 AM on 15th.

One of my premier upgrades has been shipped with tracking. The other is saying back ordered.

The enthusiastic customer service representative indicated I will not receive the backordered phone on the 24th. Said sometime between 25th - 28th. So you all are likely in the same boat that are Premier, and have theirs labeled 'back-ordered'. He could not explain why one is shipping and the other is not. He was sort of like a robot, "it will ship between 25th and the 28th" over and over. He even said the one that has a tracking number may not be received till after the 24th, although I don't believe that.

I have this feeling that the CSR's don't really know anything more than we do at this point. Whether we will or won't get our phones on launch day is up to the fulfillment center pairing our order numbers with a phone and then passing it along to FedEx. It doesn't matter what a CSR says if the fulfillment center can't get through all of the hundreds of thousands of orders in time. They've got 3 more days to sort this mess out, and hopefully they will.

Needless to say, if pre-ordering in the morning hours on the first day isn't enough to secure a device on launch day, I'm never pre-ordering through AT&T again, especially since I tried ordering in the pre-dawn hours and their systems were already down.
 
Well, I guess I'm now in the second wave of deliveries.

I ordered at 12:30pm on the 15th, but of course Chase put a Fraud Hold on my card. I got the email from AT&T that day about the processing issue, but it took me until the 18th to finally get through to AT&T. After I cleared the Fraud Hold, the CS rep said this wouldn't affect my delivery date. I just checked the order status at the AT&T site and it now shows an order date of 6/18 and the Processing- Backordered status.

I wonder just when I will finally get the phone.

I'm in the same boat. If I haven't received an update on my order by the 23rd, I will be cancelling through AT&T and heading to camp out at my Apple store. Luckily its in the mall so doors don't open until 5am. Maybe if I get there early I will be a lucky one.
 
Anyone who ordered through ATT on 6/15 around 3 that had their order date changed to the 16th, had theirs shipped? *desperately waiting for my new iPhone* :(

I preordered on the 15th but shows I placed the order on the 16th so I was half expecting to be part of the second wave of shipments.
Credit card was charged.
Today I get my FedEx tracking numbers and shows shipping out today the 21st.

I wasn't in any hurry to receive it but I am pleasantly surprised. :)

Edit: pbush25 - I ordered at about that time, maybe later on the 15th. Patience, my friend. Yours will ship out too :)

thanks. 25-28 is better than nothing - but not as good as the 24th. I wonder if they're doing that to stop us buying it in store on the 24th and canceling. It might be too late to cancel the thing if it's already been shipped. Oh well.
 
Ordered mine on the 15th at around noon (CST), the AT&T Premier site shows ordered on the 15th, the AT&T General order site shows ordered on the 17th.

No tracking number, no shipment date, and the order is backordered ... we'll see what happens :D
 
Mine's the same as Matt's too.

Spoke to someone at AT&T and honestly they have the exact info we have. Basically they just check the status info of the order through the site. He basically said that I was SOL even though I ordered on the 15th at 11 am and the order date says the 16th. Said that the demand to input the orders was just too high.

Also, my credit card still hasn't been billed and they haven't even generated an invoice for my phone, haha. Not a good sign, I imagine. Those that have had their orders shipped, was your credit care already charged?

You aren't necessarily SOL. Like I said, I ordered on the 15th but my order date says the 16th because of when it was processed. I called AT&T to check and they said it still showed that I should receive it on the 24th. My credit card was just billed today but my order status still is In Process

I ordered my iPhone as soon as the AT&T stored opened at 10:00am CST on the 15th. AT&T's website still says "In Progress" for mine.
 
New Customer

Will the fact that I am a new customer delay me in getting the phone. Ordered 10am on the 15th...I have gotten 2 emails (on right after the order) and one a day later confirming the order. Still showing in process.

Still Not Shipped

My Pre-Order was received on the 15th but the status still says "In Progress." I have a strong feeling that all of the units for Thursday's launch have already made their way to the states and are being processed through distribution centers as we speak. We already know that the tracking information is delayed [most people who have seen their orders ship have an initial ship date of June 17th but did not receive tracking info until the 21st].

You have to remember that each individual phone has to be scanned into the system and this is probably why some of us have not seen our tracking info updated. I am trying to be patient lol.

Heh, I think the more you refresh your status page, the farther back in the queue your order goes ;)
 
Ok for those that ordered through AT&T Premier, does the order date differ from the premier order status page and the regular att order status page? Just checked mine and I see this.....I'm not happy.

Yup, shows 6.15 on Premier and 6.16 on regular order status for me. Interesting. Good catch, BTW.
 
Ordered in-store on the 15th, never been backordered, page says 6/15/10 for order date, still in progress

Be patient... I was in the same boat but literally one minute ago got an email form AT&T saying my order has been moved into Shipped status.

They're getting around to it.
 
OK get this - I ordered my phone on the 15th around 3pm EST from the AT&T site. I told my friend about it, and he ordered it about a half hour later from AT&T site. We were both trying all day, of course.

So both phones listed 6/16 as the order date, even though ordered on 15th. His started as backordered, but mine never said backordered, only ordered.

His phone NOW says shipped, and mine doesn't! Good news is i'm still not backordered. But it shows that it doesn't seem to go by the time of the order, or if it does, its broken into some kind of groups.

The only difference is that he used a credit card, and I used a debit/credit card. There was a pre-authorization hold on my card, but its removed now. He had the hold as well, but his still shows the pre-authorized hold charge.

Also, he was eligible for the $200 upgrade, and I had to pay the $499 cost. I wonder if that would have anything to do with it.

But its still early, and im optimistic that i'll get it come thursday. But that doesn't stop me from checking the order status compulsively.
 
I'd be willing to bet that there are dozens of workers at AT&T who are having to match up tracking numbers with order numbers manually, and it's just a matter of which order gets dumped on them next. It's just taking some time.

Man, we are an impatient bunch, huh?
 
Just checked my order status (for the umpteenth time) and finally got an update...says it shipped today, but under Qty Shipped...still says 0. Hope it means theres hope for a 24th delivery.:rolleyes:

No confirmation email though...or tracking numbers, yet.

Has anyone else seen UPS as their carrier? I live in FL btw...not sure if that matters as to the different carrier.
