When you guys ordered your iPhone with AT&T, did the e-mail say that the Shipping Method was FedEx Overnight? Cause I noticed some people were getting UPS, but didn't know if their email said UPS.

AT&T Confirming Shipment of iPhone 4 Pre-Orders

I remember both of mine showed FedEx overnight. Still waiting to see mine ship though.

To add to the madness, I pre-ordered through the AT&T site on the 15th at around 12:30 PM Central time. I received a confirmation email on the 17th and my date ordered showed the 16th.
I received a CSS email today at 8:23 AM and noticed on AT&T that my upgrade options changed to 2011.
In the last hour my status has changed from processing to shipped. My order never was placed on backorder. It's shipping UPS.

Does anyone have a backorder on their AT&T order page? That's what mine says right now, and I'm wondering if anyone else has this? I ordered 2 32G phones on the 15th at 8am. Both of them were ordered on the premier site, and the credit cards were charged and now when I look back at the account the charges were reversed. I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem. AT&T = FAIL!

I love ATT. I got the same message today evening and it reflects my current phone - a Samsung model, which I got 4 years ago. Loving every minute of this.

interesting how apple is managing the pre-orders so much nicer then att is. i'm almost jealous a bit for people that reserved with apple, then again i refuse to wait in their lines
ordered mines on the 15 of june.....order says 16.... going crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! early i called att they told me my order was valid... soooo then the lady broke my heart and told me i gottawait until my order status change.... maybe 2morrow @ 8..something will change.....

i got a lovely email from Experian today that AT&T pulled my credit record 4 times during their fail & aids ordering process.
between the fail that was pre-ordering
the fail that was their order "processing"
the sure-to-fail network on the 24th when people cant use their shiny new iphones...
the customer service sales line that made me wait 25 minutes just to talk to someone about getting new service...
wow AT&T... i see you havent changed at all since i left you in 2003 for many of the same reasons (horrible customer service, network that doesnt function, etc)... so much for getting more of my money. looks like i'll be getting that nice Evo 4g now... at Sprint they actually try to make me think that they appreciate my business.

Same thing happened to me today too, and my order still says "In Progress". I ordered on the 15th but the site says the 16th.
I'm in somewhat of the same boat too:

Ordered on 6/15 11:30am EST, but shows 6/16

I haven't spent all that much time on the forums, but am starting to get excited for the new phone. Somehow my order ended up with a White - even though I'd prefer black. I was changing the colors and hitting submit and reloading the page because I kept getting errors. Once it was added I didn't even consider trying to change the color- I just checked out.

My order status now says "Cancelled". WTF?!
That's awful, really sorry to hear about that.
Is there any reason why that cancellation may have happened? Insufficient funds/multiple orders/difference in shipping and billing address? I'd contact AT&T as soon as possible to hopefully get this sorted out! Best of luck, and keep us posted!
This makes sense...everyone says their phone "shipped" but i haven't seen a screen shot of an origin scan or a way point. Having a tracking number DOES NOT mean it has shipped.
I've seen some others like that. I would guess you're gonna get a sim, considering you're going to need it...
Same here. Two iPhone 4's shipped; no mention of a SIM. They're being shipped to AT&T for pickup. Perhaps AT&T provides the sim.
Has everyone who has a FEDEX shipping number and their package says it has been shipped gotten a confirmation email that says its been shipped because I still haven't. I sort of expected it to come at some point today because my status changed to shipping last night at about 2 AM.
I ordered mine (Premier) on the 15th around 8:25 AM Mountain time. My order status said the 16th as many others on here have mentioned and had a backordered status. I just checked and the backorder has been moved to ordered. No shipping info yet, but at least there has been some progress. Maybe shipping info and an email by the morning.
