AT&T Confirming Shipment of iPhone 4 Pre-Orders

I'm envious of those of you who have had your status change. People who ordered later than me have theirs arriving, some people who ordered before me are in the same boat as me. Seems like a big cluster f**k from AT&T.

Guess I'll keep checking back and see if anything changes, although I'm starting to think I'm one of many thousands who are getting shafted.

Right there with you. I think AT&T is just picking people's orders at random and fulfilling them. No matter when they ordered the phones. Glad I got up early to preorder a phone that I won't get on launch day.

At this point if I get it on Thursday I will be very surprised since I have no tracking info yet as most other people do.

I will remember this for next time... A*holes..
 
Heads Up For Premier Customers

All

I ordered 2 phones (see my previous thread) one showed shipped today (16GB black) but the other has shown in process since 6/15 through the premier order status checker (www.wireless.att.com/business/order_status). I also received now email update on this 2nd phone (32GB Black) so went to the regular order checker (www.wireless.att.com/order_status) and low and behold it shows it shipped today for delivery tomorrow (same delivery date as the fist) !!!!!

Obviously the AT&T systems are not consistent so I would suggest you check both order trackers if you have not already.

Thanks and looks like AT&T is delivery tomorrow same as Apple

So ya think the phone will arrive with the sim already in? Or will it be separate and you have to install it?
 
its just to bad you cant refresh the att order page without re entering the pass phrase. That way I sould set "reload every" for 30 in intervals

I ordered mine as soon as the AT&T stored opened, but they didn't charge my credit card until the next day, didn't get any email confirmations even though I gave them my email, and on the AT&T website it still says "In Progress" (not backordered or anything else).
 
Are you all getting e-mails as well? Or just checking the AT&T Order site periodically?

I checked premier site order status and regular order status for my 2nd phone, no email on it yet but clearly tracking number and shows coming to me when I track it.

I got my shipped status last night around 5:30 and then the tracking number went live this morning, now showing "picked up" on the FedEx website. It also says delivery by tomorrow at 3:00, so I would think maybe some of us, like Apple, will be getting our shiny new phones tomorrow, too! YAY! :D

ahah...lol..yeah man...i did..checked it this morning as soon as i got to work with my fingers crossed. seen the shipping on my order, and tracking number..

face went from:rolleyes: to :D:D:D:D in .5 seconds.

Order has always reflected a June 15th date.
Premier status has not changed since June 16th where my order status is In Process.
Regular Order status site had Backordered 1 for my Iphone 4 32g Black until this morning. Now its no longer backordered but its still in process.

Last year most of the status changes didn't take place until the morning before the release date. Then people started panicking about what plane the phone was on. Why it had to go to Memphis, TN first. Where the delivery truck was located.

I say..if you have a status update and tracking number by tomorrow night..you are in good shape. If not...sucks to be us.

But thats not preventing me from checking the status throughout the day.

Update.

A few moments ago I logged into the Order Status results.
I have a tracking number - carrier is null.
I logged into Fex Ex. Tracking number works.

Package has been picked up in Fort Worth, Texas
Ship date Jun 22, 2010
Estimated delivery Jun 23, 2010 by 3:00 PM

I don't think that 23rd date holds water. Similiar thing happened last year and at the last minute Apple asked the carriers to hold the shipment until the release date.

But we shall see.

At least I know my package is in the states...Last year it shipped out from Asia the night before (I still got it on release day though)
 
just spoke to fedex, since my order is now in transit.. they said a signature is required, but its an indirect signature, so i can leave a note. they also said they got a memo about the iphone orders.. they are to be delivered between june 23-26 and since it's standard priority overnight, it should be delivered by 10:30am.. so excited to be receiving it a day earlier...
 
Just got shipping information! Same as poster above, it says Null but it works in Fedex's website. Delivery set for the 23rd by 3pm. wooo!!!

i hope i dont recieve it a day earlier..i tookt he 24th off..not the 23rd :)

for those that have not yet recieved their shipping---stay patient my lads

I don't think I've heard that at all anywhere on any site I've been to in the last week. haha. Based on Apple orderers getting theirs early and my tracking information saying it will be here on the 23rd, my bet would be you'll get it tomorrow.

i also took the 24th off. but fedex says it requires an 'indirect' signature, which means i just need to leave a note...

Was in the exact same shoes. Just noticed that my shipping info was updated this morning and shows shipped via Fedex to be delivered by 23rd. Premier order status shows no progress but regular order status does. BTW, saw no shipping emails from ATT
 
There is hope for those with Premier orders. I just checked and I now have a tracking number and FedEx says it should be delivered on the 23rd by 3:00. Until last night I had a backordered status even though I placed my order at 8:15 AM MDT on the 15th. Hope everyone else that is in limbo gets an update soon as well.

I just received a SMS from ATT. COngratulations on your upgrade, and address for instructions to activate a new phone. The status is still the same , no shipping. Did anyone get it too?

hah, well i mean i want to be there to get the phone. lol. if leaving a note is the case, i'll just leave one with the old man, mayte:cool:...

but mine is getting shipped through ups.i never got an e-mail or anything, nor does it show the expected delivery date. so i doubt it.
