AT&T Confirming Shipment of iPhone 4 Pre-Orders

At&t Strikes Again
I ordered my iPhone 4 at 8:00 a.m. on the 15th. I was just informed by the AT&T Premier folks that NO PREMIER ORDERS WILL SHIP BEFORE JUNE 24th...
WTF??

Uh, yeah my tracking number from the order I placed on ATT premier says otherwise.
Well, if that means shipping the 24th and then arriving the 25th, then I'm fine with it. But if it's going to be another week...
BTW: My 3PM CST Premier order is still "Backordered" and hasn't had a status update since last Friday. Order date is supposedly the 16th.
I ordered also at 8AM through Premier, and they didn't process my order until the 19th, and I am backorder. It certainly appears computer glitches (i.e., AT&T's incompetence) is leaving Premier customers getting the shaft.
Apple should take the company over if for no other reason than to gut senior management, then spin it off after a competent management team is in place.
I was told the exact the same thing. I think it may be true since when I go back to look at the initial confirmation letter I received, it says that the orders will be fulfilled, not delivered, beginning 6/24:
I ordered on 6/15, order on ATT premier listing said I ordered 6/16, backordered until this morning, just check again and now I have a FEDEX shipping number, and it says for delivery on 6/23.

At&t is on some bull*hit!
F*ck AT&T! They are so full of sh*t with their emails. First come, first served my a*s. I ordered mine at 9am CST on June 15th and it still says in progress. It seems to be the norm that not only does At&t lie to their customers, they also like to f*ck them over. You'd think a corporation that big would get their sh*t together. For all you people that ordered way after us and have a shipping date and tracking number you are lucky sons of bitches. Thank At&t for being a sh*tty company and the reason you're getting your iPhone before people that were in line before you. It's like having a line outside your store and going out there and just randomly picking people to sell the iphone too. It's just like when you go to stand in line for hours to by tickets for a concert and they tell you they are doing a lottery. Who ever came up with that sh*t should be shot!

I ordered mine at 10:30am eastern on 6/15 via the AT&T website (not premier). My order date shows 6/16. It shows as 'shipped' as of 6:00am this morning. Here's hoping 
That's good to hear! When you see that it's shipped are you checking the Premier order status page or the wireless.att.com order status page?

Somehow I tried to place my orders on 15th at 4:30AM, and Apple did not work. I tried ATT and everything went thru but the confirmation. I tried to place the order at work, but to no avail. When I came home I somehow placed two orders with Apple, and got acknowledgement letters. Next morning I got confirmation from ATT that I preordered two phones. What is going to happen? Will they catch it?

Regular Order status site had Backordered 1 for my Iphone 4 32g Black until this morning. Now its no longer backordered but its still in process.

I say..if you have a status update and tracking number by tomorrow night..you are in good shape. If not...sucks to be us.
But thats not preventing me from checking the status throughout the day.

Same situation. Ordered at 1:30pm EST on the 15th thru Premier and was backordered until early this morning. Still "Processing". I hope it goes thru by tonight! I heard some people will get them tomorrow....i'm still pulling for the 24th!

Flyer, yes I do. I have two orders with Premier right now one I just got shipping info on and will be delivered tomorrow

so I ordered mine at 10am CST on the 15th but the order didn't go through till the 18th. As of just right now it looks like I'm still "in progress". I called AT&T and they said everything looked to be running through smoothly. I REALLY hope I get it on the 24th, maybe because I'm in Texas it won't ship till today or tomorrow.

Sometime overnight, my status went from backordered to shipped, and the tracking number is already in FedEx's systems (shipping from Fort Worth).
If yours hasn't shipped yet, don't lose hope; Mine was backordered since the 15th, and I wasn't sure if I was going to get one either. It's really the luck of the draw at this point.
Edit: I'm on premier and mine has shipped... the above info is just flat wrong. Plenty of other premier orders have shipped as well.
