AT&T Confirming Shipment of iPhone 4 Pre-Orders

Mine isn't either. But when I got my iPad on opening day it never showed an update until going out for delivery. I'm in Los Angeles and I think they were shipped in a pallet so not all got scanned.

Although that may be different with iPhones because don't they need individual attention with the sim card?

Most likely though, especially to big places, there's an aggregating effort so the shipping info likely will come online in a geographic fashion.

What region are you in?

Mine says pretty much the same thing. People who ordered from Apple will get theirs early. Think we will get it as advertised by FedEx or will our's get held?
 
AT&T Order Shipped!

Never backordered, just got shipping notice this morning. Actual UPS tracking info active.

Yeah, i ordered my dad's iphone thru Apple (about 8 hours after mine thru AT&T) and his is coming tomorrow, the 23! Meanwhile, mine still says "in progress". This whole thing is ridiculous! Somehow his phone that was ordered 8 hours after mine, but through Apple, is coming a day early and mine didn't even ship yet. I'm so frustrated! And he didn't even want the phone--I talked him into it! ugh, hahaha. I guess that's what i get for being nice and selling Apple another iPhone.

Congrats to those who are on track to get theirs the 24!! Hopefully mine ships today!

same here, also another order changed from "back-ordered" 1 to 0, so hopefully they are shipping soon.
 
I ordered mines on the 15, but my order status says 16... Is anyone in my situation still??Hopefully im not the only one this morning...

I ordered the 15th as well (around 130pm EST) and mine still says the 16th, too. Mine was on backorder as of 10:30pm last night, but when I woke up this morning, the backorder was removed, but it still says Processing...

My order is also no longer showing "back-ordered." Hopefully it ships today and arrives tomorrow.

My plan is to "work" from home so I catch the FedEx guy. The fact that the US is playing their final World Cup match tomorrow morning has nothing to do with it! :cool:

I am in the same situation, I ordered it on the 15th at 6:30 am eastern time, but the order status is the 16th. I just checked it it still says In Progress.

i ordered mine through AT&T store at 6:30pm EST, and my feded says the same thing as yours..

I was in the same boat until this morning. A tracking number suddenly appeared. My phone is on its way to the UPS facility in Memphis. Looks like i might get it by Thursday.
 
Just spoke to FedEX

Alright, so I ordered my phone on the 15th like most of you but I ordered mine in the AT&T Store. My order time was at 11:56 EST. My AT&T Order Status says shipped on 06/18 but the tracking number for FedEx is still not working. So I called up and talk to a customer service rep for FedEx and they said that the tracking number won't actually work until Wednesday the 23. She also said that the package is scheduled for a one day delivery so that it will arrive on the 24th. :)

So hopefully that helps people in a similar situation as me, so don't fret will will be getting them on the 24th, but I will be hoping we receive them on the 23rd like are fellows who ordered via Apple.

YES!!! I finally received notification that my order has shipped and the tracking number is in the system. It says that it shipped this morning via next day air. I ordered mine at 3:15 CST, so anyone that ordered before, keep your hopes up if you haven't received anything. June 24th can't get here fast enough. =:D
 
just called fedex and he said it indicates that no signature is required. which is good... since i may not get home on time..

Im in the same exact boat. I ordered mine from the ATT site at 6:30am EST under the assumption that first order first serve... haven't received a cancellation notice, but i also haven't had a confirmation other than the initial email received when i placed the preorder. It frustrates me to hear people have ordered as much as 10 hours after me and have all of their information updates and have a phone in transit to their location.
 
Ordred iphone on 6/15/10, has been "In Progress" since. Date Ordered states 6/16/10 - AT&T stated that orders would be handled by order it was received and that the date on the order page wouldn't matter. Phone was never backordred but status has not changed at all.

So it seems like what they said wasn't true - the stated Date Ordered DOES matter, incorrect as it may be. Bummer.

Wonderful...guess preordering mine at 9am on the 15th makes no difference if they screw up and don't actually place the order on the same day. Mine didn't even get ordered according to their website until yesterday. I'm not getting mine anytime soon...
