AT&T Confirming Shipment of iPhone 4 Pre-Orders

AT&T store hours

Does anyone know if AT&T stores will open early or anything? Customer service at ATT said they're opening at 10am. I tried calling the store, but they haven't answered their phone in 2 weeks due to their staff being busy or unavailable. AT&T has the worst service I have ever encountered. I almost want to just give up the iPhone and go with the Sprint EVO lol... BTW no shipment info here either and I ordered the phone when the store opened, I live north of Chicago.
 
I ordered on the 15th at 5:3AM (so like 1.5 hours in).

I have a Fedex tracking number from a shipment on the 18th but there is still no information available for the package on the Fedex tracking site.
 
I checked that site at least twice a day. It says order date is 06/16 and backordered. I really don't understand the how the queue works in AT&T's pathetic non-logical system.

Well mine suddenly changed an hour or so ago but it never said backordered...

They are opening at 7AM here in Cleveland Thursday.
 
i ordered on the 15th with a new account at 10:40 am est, i have a shipped status with a UPS tracking number which gives information of overnight, leaving TN today. wonder if I will get it before my vacation tomorrow at 4:30 pm, if not I have a nice present to come back to sunday night.
 
for all my 6/16 waiterz i got progess... so exicted!!!!!called the orders number 1-877-782-8870...Soon as i got off the phone with the lady she said go check my status online... just did... my baby is shipping out today!!!! hopefully tomorrow i will recieve... i will slap my mangner will my phone 2morrow b4 he goes on vacation!!!!!!!!!!

Email this morning says shipped, via UPS, nothing shows up under that tracking number?????

Any one else getting this??????

I ordered via at&t premier @ 5:00am EST on 6/15 and current fedex tracking number is in transit with est. deliver date 6/23.
 
Now What's Going On?

I ordered mine at the AT&T store at 10:30 AM PDT on 6/15. They did not get it into the system until 6/16 at 12 noon. I am still showing in progress. Okay, I am already stressed about that, but I called AT&T customer service a few minutes ago and they told me it was in progress but not being shipped to my home but to the store. I drove over to the store and saw the representative who helped me. I asked him why they asked for my home address for shipping confirmation but it was coming to the store. He first asked my last name and walked to the back. He came back about 20 seconds later and said something unintelligible. I asked him why if he asked me to confirm my home address was I getting notice that it was being delivered to the store. He said that there may have been something wrong with the address verification. For this next part, mind you, we are at a computer and nothing has been typed in yet.

I asked him to them verify somehow for me where it was being shipped. He walked to the back locked room again and emerged 30 seconds later with a statement that it was being sent to the store. Now, I ask you this: how did he know this without looking at a computer at all or seeing my information? Are the phones in the back room as I saw FedEx leaving when I got there or was he trying to shut me up? I am just confused as to why he never asked me for any information, like my phone number, but only my last name.

Not sure if this is progress but I got through the order line and hit 0. I was polite to the CSR and she assured me my order was already processed. 10 minutes later the "back order" dropped of the status page but still shows in progress.
 
Both Apple and AT&T are shipping. My dad ordered thru AT&T--his shipped yesterday and is coming from Hong Kong. Est. delivery: the 23rd by 1030am. Mine shipped today from Texas. Est. delivery: the 23rd by 3pm. I'm very pumped! I am also a premier customer. Just hang in there if you don't have shipping information yet--mine was backordered as of last night and shipped by noon EST today. It was picked up at the ATT warehouse in Texas at noon. So it should start moving as the day/night progresses! Hopefully it makes it to my house by 3pm tomorrow, especially since I got the overnight shipping.
 
Mine just became 100 after being stuck at 101 since I placed the order at 1:30p EDT 6/15 via premier. Still "in progress" and no shipping information whatsoever. Had the same amount on hold on my credit card since order placed, not charged not released as of now. But still I'm getting hope that mine will arrive sometime before this weekend.
 
Well, my charges just fell off my card. Still "In Progress", ordered on the 15th, showing the 16th on the site. No shipping information.

I just got off the phone with ATT and the person on the phone said, that in progress means it will go out, if you are listed as back ordered then you will be in the next wave of phones. My order is still listed as in progress, but they checked and said it was married to a new phone serial number and once picked up by the shipper the status would update. As to the truth behind this not to sure. but just wanted to pass along what new or old news i just got.
