AT&T Confirming Shipment of iPhone 4 Pre-Orders

thanks for the response. well that makes me feel a bit better. i placed my order ont he 15th around 12:30-1 pm. got an e-mail instantly, seen the pre-auth charged on my card, than it got taken out. just anxious as the rest of us who have yet to be SHIPPED. . it's never been on back order so that's a plus. just want it shipped already

Yeah mine never hit back-ordered either. But I never got a pre-auth or hold or anything from AT&T. I guess they just trust I have the money.. Haha.

I ordered 6/15. Shows shipped 6/17. I payed with debit card. Have not been charged yet. Never recieved an email from AT&T or FED EX that it has been shipped, just shows it has under Order Status.

Apple shipped my phone and I have the 23rd delivery date as well. I know they've held onto order until the day of before, however, I wonder if the 7am B&M store time being earlier than the typical Fed Ex 10:30am home delivery time changes things?

Same here! But then again if I could have gotten through I wouldn't be complaining about AT&T. Looks like I have a hold on the funds according to the bank but no other emails besides the one when I placed the order.

Ordered at 9:20am on the 15th. I sure hope I get one from the first batch!

Premier order here as well on 15th around 11AM. Order date correctly shows 15th but still in the "processing" tick for me. Not sure if I shall get it on 24th.

I'm in the same boat. I'm not going to freak out.....yet.

i think we would be on th first batch, or one of those who would get it on the 24th. i think the customers who will probably get theirs on the 2nd or afterwards, would be those who ordered after the site was temporarily out of service for pre orders. i think the ones who made it before all that mess should be fine. im hoping. because none of our orders have been on BACK ORDER, since they showed up. im just assuming and hoping they haven't gotten through ours, out of the hundreds of thousands

We ordered 2 phones on the 15th bt the other one did not show up for tracking until the 16th. However, it still shows that it was ordered the 15th..the problem is it is still showing as back-ordered whereas the other one has apparently alrea shipped. Seems to me they both should have gotten shipped the same day.

Yeah, I am with you there. I am thinking that I did not make the cutoff. I am pissed since I tried ordering before going to work around 5AM. I could get through to the AT&T site, but not Apple. I figured I would wait until later to get my order in after the primary traffic dwindled since I would prefer to use Apple.com. Wrong!

I ordered on the 15th at 7:30ish am EST. I JUST got my tracking number, my carrier still says NULL but its a fedex number. My Premier tracking page hasn't changed so I would make sure you're checking:

Shows back-ordered for me as well now. Called ATT and they have no cue ofcourse. Mine most likely wont ship thru Fedex since I have a USPS account. Let's see if things change....People past 11AM have got shipping information but not sure how many of those are Premier orders. I have a 3GS phone. This would be for my wife so that I'm anxious but not hair-splitting anxious, LOL.

I notice that the screenshot up there has an order date of 6/15. I placed my order on 6/15 at around 2 pm CST, but when I look at my order status page, it says the order date was 6/16.

Anyone else have an order date of 6/16 that shows shipped? Guess I know what page I'll be refreshing all day long.

I had the same issue on my page. I called AT&T and they said that even though my order got through at 1:30pm EST, it was placed in a queue and not processed by AT&T until 3:30am on the 16th. But they told me I was still set to receive my preorder on the 24th
