ok so i called AT&T back again trying to get RUN7 and CMG5 applied and the lady put me on hold and told me they couldn't be applied but she would give me 100 rollover mintues for the hell of it. Then she corrects herself and gives me 200 rollover minutes instead. Hey it's better than nothing and tomorrow is a different day!

BSD 200 BONUS MINS (To expire on 08/07/09 ) $0.00
BM CREDIT 50 (To expire on 08/17/08 ) $0.00

I personally see none of this and my CSR mentioned nothing about expiration. For some reason I think some of you got some weird, passive-aggressive customer service representatives.

As I thought would happen the first 11 of my text messages were posted under the 200 instead of the 1500. What I plan on doing is waiting until everything is updated the most current progress and then call AT&T to have all my texts put on the 1500 and the 200 removed. ;/

From my understanding, if you used the 200 plan at all during the pay period, it will show the use on it. If your recent texts are going to the 1500 one, that's good. ATT appears to pro-rate everything, so you'll get a partial bill for each plan that is rated to the actual length of time it was on your account. I think the period ends Monday, also(At least for me), so you don't have to wait long to see what happens.
 
So the 1500B2B texts are good to other people who are not business accounts?
(translation: I can use the codes and text my friends like normal?)
 
Can someone who has been following this put together a list of all of the codes available to us and put it in a sticky maybe?

I haven't called yet, but as of now I have 40 text messages sent and none of them were charged for pay as you go, other then the initial 5.

AIM forwarding
Email to my phone
Sent message to an iphone 3g
Sent message to blackberries / palms
Sent messages to normal devices

^ all of which was deducted from my 1500 messages. I'll update again after I make the call.

Well if i wanted to go through the whole thing I wouldnt have asked. What I was asking is if someone who has been following the thread (familiar with what and where to look for) could get a list together for the people who havent been following it so we dont have to spend 3 hours reading all the posts. Thanks to whoever does this.

So you want someone else to do the work to find this for you when it's readily available for you directly if you took the time to search for it? If you're going to be that lazy, the least you could do is offer something in exchange for someone else to do this for you, or do you expect everything for free too?
 
Fourth try.. this time I called in the afternoon rather then at night. I rep said it would take a few minutes to put it in, and then came back and said she can put it on but taking the iPhone texting off may make it not work. She asked if I was sure I wanted to do it, I said sure I'd just call back if it didn't.

...it worked! 4th time's the charm.

She said it would be prorated for this monthly cycle as well.
I've been calling 1-800-331-0500 from landline.
 
Lame, tried adding U200, but got stuck on the 'why' questions. She wouldn't let me add it. What else have you guys tried to say?
 
i just called to try and add BM350 and the rep told me it expired in 04 and someone already called earlier and tried to add it. calling back in a few more hours :D

As of right now, the only codes that are working to add to an account AS OF TODAY are U200 for 200 bonus minutes and TMS4 for 1500 messages for $8.99.

If others report that they have BM*** or Y*** they had them added previously and have been grandfathered in.

It seems that in order to get the TMS4 added you have to have your current message plan removed before the TMS can be added.

All you have to say is that your HR department or school gave you these SOC codes (some call them "feature codes") to add to your account. If they ask you what they are for, tell them. If they give you a hard time, thank them and call back to get another rep.

NEVER tell them you got them off the internet.

There is no limitation that I have heard of from AT&T or other sources. You can use those 1500 messages as you would have used your 200 for $5.00.

Finally after 5 or 6 times trying I was able to add TMS4 and U200. When will I be able to see the changes show up on my online account? She also told me the texting was for business to business. Can someone verify that the TMS4 texting plan can be used just like any normal texting plan?

I have both TMS3 and U200. Its on my account page, hopefully it sticks. My guess is that att might start cracking down on this if so many people are adding it. lets try to space it out a bit;):p:cool:

Exactly. Also, don't forget that CMG5 will get you another 50 bonus minutes if you're in the CARE market (Which seems to be Atalantic Coast up to about New York)
