Finally got both TMS4 and U200 added today (9th try) :)

Online I can see B2B 1500 for 8.99 however unlike others I do not have a section for "Bonus Minutes" or the feature "BSD 200 BONUS MINS". Instead it seems the minutes have been added to my regular anytime minutes... Anyone else have this happen?

I just added late lastnight TMS4 and TMS3 to both lines on my family plan with extreme ease! Guy was very nice and added them with no problems. Now if i could just get my black 16gb from DF id be happy!
 
I had the TMS4 added, no luck with the U200 YET, but I do have a question about the U200.
Is that "BONUS 200 minutes EACH month or a one time add?

I really needed to come here and thank you all (especially the thread starter) for this great thread... I added TMS4 to my account with no hassles and instead of paying $20 for unlimited messaging, I'm only paying 8.99 for 1500 (and I don't even use all of that... I use more than 200 but definately do not use more than 500 a month)... so, THANKS A LOT!!!
 
So you want someone else to do the work to find this for you when it's readily available for you directly if you took the time to search for it? If you're going to be that lazy, the least you could do is offer something in exchange for someone else to do this for you, or do you expect everything for free too?

I am not forcing you to waste your time on me or anyone else. I was asking politely if someone who knew where to look for them would be kind enough to take a little time for a small summary. You know there are some people out there that still do things for people without having to or expecting something in return.

It is added one time and is recurring month to month. Once you add it, it is on the account and there is no need to re-add it.

That's why I did it too. Saves me money and I will never have any messaging overages.

I have a problem with people asking other people to do work for them because they're too lazy to do it themselves, and I speak out when I see it. If you don't like it, don't be lazy and ask people here to do work for you and I won't respond to your posts anymore. If you can't handle the internet, stay off it. :rolleyes:

I've helped a lot of folks here in the past 5 years I've been on this forum - people who have honestly tried to fix or research a problem and then get stumped.

It depends what market your in (CARE or Telegance) . On my account it shows up separately under a heading titled "Additional Purchased Minutes" then it lists 200 minutes as bonus.

Just called and got a very nice CSR. Added the TMS4 with ease, but for some reason she could not find the U200 code. Any idea why?
 
Finally

I had to call a total of 14 times to finally get it to go through. The first 3 or so CSRs told me that they cannot add any features to the account, the can only add the standard features like 1500 txt for $15. Finally I got one CSR that after telling me that the TMS4 code didn't exist she said she would try it anyone, and sure enough it did exist but then she went on to tell me how that feature can't be added to the iphone plan because I already had a bundled text message plan (I have the new iphone 3g, with the standard voice plan and 200 txt). After that I called a few more times and would run into road blocks I finally got a CSR that I just ran through the same procedure, she asked for the feature code, I gave it to her and then she said, "ok, the feature code has been added to your account, may I do anything else for you". That last call took maybe 45 secs. You really just have to get the right person. If they tell you that you can't get it because of the iphone, tell them to go ahead and take your current text plan off and then add the tms4 and it should work, because that's what it sounded like this last girl did.
 
BM Codes Can still work!!

I got BM350 to work but was lucky very very lucky. Rep placed me on hold and came back and said that indeed it was a valid code and ti has been added to my account. I now have u200, bm350, TMS4, and FAN discount on my Iphone 3g Account. I am the only one of any of my friends to get the BM350 code working and maybe it is grandfathered but I got it added a week ago considering a week and a half ago I was still with Verizon. Just a heads up.

As of right now, the only codes that are working to add to an account AS OF TODAY are U200 for 200 bonus minutes and TMS4 for 1500 messages for $8.99.

If others report that they have BM*** or Y*** they had them added previously and have been grandfathered in.

It seems that in order to get the TMS4 added you have to have your current message plan removed before the TMS can be added.



All you have to say is that your HR department or school gave you these SOC codes (some call them "feature codes") to add to your account. If they ask you what they are for, tell them. If they give you a hard time, thank them and call back to get another rep.

NEVER tell them you got them off the internet.



There is no limitation that I have heard of from AT&T or other sources. You can use those 1500 messages as you would have used your 200 for $5.00.

I have had no luck adding any BM*** code, but it may be something that only works with certain FAN accounts. I will still try, but this time I might just go into my local store and give it a shot.

Tried to get the TMS4 added when I picked up my iPhone an hour ago but no go.

Is there a specific 1800 number that has been having the best success?

sweet! Just added this. It took 4 tries. Was told 3 times that I had to do it in person at a corporate AT&T store. 4th time I just immediately said "I'd like to add an SOC code to my account." Guy then asked if he could put me on hold for 2 minutes. I said yes. He came back, and asked for the code. I replied "U200" and he then asked how much that was supposed to cost. I replied "I was told it is free under our foundational agreement." Then he applied it, no problems.

I have an iPhone 2G, 450 minute basic plan, my FAN is a large state university.
 
people... they are on to us! my account no longer has the tms3 plan and went back to 200 texts for 5$

slow down...

eh, I wouldn't go that far. I've had cingular/AT&T since I was in high school (1999) and AT&T has a history of making things disappear and reappear when you first add them. If it's still not there in a few days, or when your bill comes, I'd worry then.

Other poster has me slightly nervous about whether or not this will be applied. I'm still just showing up 450 minutes. Although it says the last update was at 2:50 AM.
 
I have two phones on my family plan, mine and my girlfriends. Both lines have the 200 additional minutes, I got the 1500 for 8.99 text and she got the 250 for 3.99 text. I have had the 200 additional on each account for quite sometime. Called one time and got the text plans added no problem
