AT&T Feature Codes and Free Bonus Feature Codes Including TMS4 1500 SMS for $8.99

Wahoo, success! I just randomly checked my account and it now shows $8.99 for 1500 texts! I checked about 30 minutes after I got off the phone with the CSR and it still showed $15, so it didn't update immediately at least for me. So thanks to whichever CSR actually put it through!

Oh wow, U200 worked too! I got 200 extra minutes per month now!

Success with TMS4. Got a rude guy who pretended he didn't know what I was talking about. He tried to stall and all... and said it wasn't available for iphones. I told him thats true for the first generation and not for iphone 3g. I was nice at first and then a little stern.. I'd say more confident afterwards. He promptly added it. I just called at 9pm Central.. I think I will try U200 in the morning. Thats the one I really want

What is the 'APL FAN DISC OVRRIDE'? I've got a FAN account but this line item doesn't show up on mine...

That means he's probably not getting the FAN Discount. Basically there are certain grades of FAN accounts, and MOST of them are not eligible for the discount on the iPhone.
 
YES! I guess calling at night is better, or something. I got a really nice female rep who added it on instantly with no questions, I said "I'd like to add a feature code to my account", and she said "I'd be very happy to assist you with that this evening, what is the service you wish to add?" and I said "TMS4" and she looked in the computer and she said "that's the 1500 text messages for $8.99 a month", and I said "yes" and she said "ok I have added this to your account, is there anything else I can assist you with this evening? And I said "yes, I'd like to add the U200 code as well..." She said please hold... And came back and said "I'm sorry but you need to add the 200 bonus minutes at the store you purchased your phone from".

COOL! At least I got the 1500 texts, now I can go to the store hopefully and get the other deal!

BTW, for some reason even though my friend who also has an iPhone and I have been texting a LOT, my text usage says 0 (before I added the 1500 plan i had the 200 plan for $5). Are text messages to AT&T customers considered part of the free mobile to mobile?

actually it means he IS getting the discount. some people needed to do this because they were having problems with the upgrade
 
After adding TMS4, they removed my $30 data plan and can't add it back on...Now I can't even access data network.
 
Ya, before I got it all straightened out, one of the reps added the $30/month text plan for families - and I'm the only one on my account (no family plan).

They can fix it...you just have to get the right rep that knows what he's doing.
 
I called AT&T 3 times and all 3 reps told me that this cannot simply be added to the plan and would have to go through the HR department of where I work. :(

Keep trying at different times (Day/Night). I had the same problem. It took me two tries though. The last lady simply placed the code no problems at all.
 
Hey guys! I just changed my FAN from my school to my work. This increased my savings from 8% to 18%. Furthermore, I used the TSM4 code to reduce my 1500 message price from 15 to 8.99. So awesome! Now trying to get the upgrade fee waived!
 
i am a secondary holder of a iPhone 1st gen, my brother is the first/main line wit a 3G iPhone, he has unlimited txt mssgs(which for 1 line its 20$ correct?), and i have 200 txts(for 5$ a month), i frequently go over my txt mssg amount, so im thinking if i can get 1500 txts for 8.99 on my phone line, and he has unlimited, wouldnt it be cheaper to get a unlimited txt for Family Plan for 30$? or very very close?

I followed this script and it worked. I am going to try the 200 bonus minutes tonight or after i get out of a meeting. One this the rep said was i can add it because there is already a text messaging plan on your account. I reply with well i am upgrading that plan to 1500 and she well i will remove it and add this plan for 1500 txt messages for 8.99. Good luck to you all. i will update you on the bonus minutes.

I had the same thing happen to me, but I just called back and they added the iphone data plan back.

I called and was told by a business rep that I wasn't eligible for the TSM4 plan because i have an iphone. She then stated that the 1500 text message plan is $15.00 for the iphone. What do I do?

Call back later and get someone who knows what they're doing, tell them that it is a feature code for your FAN discount, that your university/business has it eligible for you, and explicitly say that it is to replace the existing text message plan that is included with the data plan.

Best chances are to call late at night. I did mine at 12:15am and got it on the first try.

Did just what you said, a different lady just told me that the tsm4 plan is not for the iphone 3g, and that I could get 1500 text messages, but would have to pay 15 dollars for it. **** that, if everyone else on here is aloud to switch the plan for their 3g iphone why can't i?? I have a premier account and everything, whats the deal??

Call back later meaning hang up and pray to god you don't get the same rep. Called about bonus minutes and the rep said "we just don't add that to accounts" I responded with well my company HR person said it was available. She put me on hold and said it wasnt part of my discount. booo. I will try later tonight.
 
Does anyone know whether the U200 minutes rollover?

Also, is there a way to know how many rollovers have accumulated? I see that my next billing cycle has started but it shows 'xxx minutes out of 650' (base plan 450 + U200) and I know I didn't use anywhere near 650 minutes last month.

You might be too late to the party. It sounds like AT&T caught on to everyone using these codes and they aren't allowing them anymore.

Just keep calling and trying, it's about all you can do.
