I called AT&T a second time last night, and after waiting a while for the rep to look, he told me that he didn't have the U200 code in his system. Then he told me that I should contact the premier account department (800-845-9681). I called them today and asked the premier services rep to add Code U200 to my account. She asked me where I heard about that code and asked me what it was. She then put me on hold, and came back and said, "Sorry, that is a bogus code that is circulating out there."

called a couple days ago, TMS4 didnt work, called back this mornin, worked. first time was a male who rejected it, 2nd time a very quiet girl approved it, so whatever.

Sweet

Just had the 200 Bonus texts applied

My plan now:

450 any time minutes $39.99
200 bonus any time minutes $0.00
250 B2B Texts $3.99
200 Bonus text messages $0.00
iphone Dataplan $30
22 % FAN discount

Grand total of $63.50 after discount and taxes not too shabby considering I was paying $66 with the old iphone.

Which code are you using for the 250 texts @ 3.99? The closest I'm seeing (at least on the Wiki) is TMA3 which is 200 @ 4.99.

I tried to get U200 added several times but was unsuccessful...or so I thought. The last person I spoke with told me, "You already have 200 bonus minutes." I checked my bill and, sure enough, there they were. Very odd but very cool.

I called att today and tried to have the U200 code added on..called 3 times and all were unsuccessful..two people(male & female) said i needed proof from my employer that they told me i can add this code, i told att that my employer told me about this code:rolleyes:..then the third female told me that this code is no longer available and she added 500 rollover minutes to my account..which is OK i guess..but those 200 minutes every month would've been nice =/

Just got off the phone with At&t and used the tms4 code and it works. Thanks for the great information.:D

B2b Only.

PAY ATTENTION.

TMS4 ($8.99 for 1500 txts) is a Business to Business plan, made for corporate use. If you sign up for this and send a text message to a non-AT&T customer, you get charged the normal text message rate, whatever that is (25 cents? I don't know.)

If you're ok with that, sign up. Otherwise you'll end up spending more money than you thought. Call and confirm for yourself.

That is false information and I have previous bills to prove it. The plan IS made for corporate use but the only additional charge you will recieve is if you send out a MMS.

Since the iphone is incapable of sending and receiving MMS messages this is a moot point. All normal SMS messages sent and received from your phone will get taken from the message pool regardless of what network the other phone is on.

Of course overage fees do apply if you go over your allocated amount but its at $.10 / message.

All messages show up as either:

Text Messa 1 Msg TMS3 In 0.00

For outside network messages or

MTM TEXT M 1 Msg TMS3 In 0.00

For M2M text messages (in network) ... TMS3 is the plan I have and it will be the same for TMS4

WRONG. They told me that at first, but I also have a bill to prove this is total bullcrap.

I love how you're assuming its a Business to Business only text plan because it is listed as B2B. At least test it for yourself before spreading false information.

You can test it with your own money. I spoke with a rep and his manager and they both confirmed the same thing. Just passing along the knowledge and fighting the good fight. Sign up for the plan and enjoy. It's a B2B plan.

Your rep fed you a load of bollocks.

TMS4 works for ANY FAN account and lists as a B2B feature on your bill regardless of what type of Business/FAN account you have. I suggest you call back again, get another rep, and you'll be told an entirely different story.. in fact, I GUARANTEE you will be told an entirely different story.

Long story short, it works, you're wrong, but not of your own doing.. except for believing what they told you.

EDIT: I bet your next move is to tell me that the TMS3 code I just added to a secondary number on my Family Plan is also B2B only..

Nice Try.....too many of us have it and have already checked our bills.

FAIL!

Just called again and spoke with someone different. She told me the same thing. Perhaps they're just conspiring now, but that sucks for me I guess. I'll have to try again later after a shift change.

I'm simply passing on info given to me by the AT&T people I've spoken to.

All my text messages are coming out of my TMS3 bucket... and none of them are to business users.

I think this thread has proven that the AT&T reps don't really know...much. You can't really believe what they are telling you.

All my txts have been to friends, no in network no business customers.

All of em coming from my 1500txt b2b pool

All of this goodness for 68 a month.

Think before you post next time.

Post proof that all those texts were to AT&T customers

It doesn't matter. None of them have to be to ATT customers. bloody hell, I send SMS messages to friends of mine on Optus and Vodafone, and they certainly aren't on ATT!

Believe me, you're failing. Facts in this thread prove you wrong. almost 2 months worth, at that.

Hey, I hope you're right and that I'm wrong. I'd like to save a couple of bucks. Like I said to you earlier, I'll try them again later. I'm not convinced by what I've seen in the prior posts though, sorry. What the AT&T reps have told me thus far is still plausible.

I've had several B2B test message codes on my account over the years, it does NOT mean it only counts for messages send to other business accounts, it's for ANY text message you send/receive. How would they know? I get text messages from my servers at work and technically those are "Business", but the source isn't from a "Business" account.
