AT&T Feature Codes and Free Bonus Feature Codes Including TMS4 1500 SMS for $8.99

I use CLL2 for 200 free SMS. It does not grant me MMS when using my Fuze. A friend sent me an MMS, and I got the link to a website.

If you get that link, that means you have the MMS opt-out on your account, I think. That doesn't necessarily show what would happen if you actually received a real MMS (which I'm assuming your Fuze supports). But, the fact that the MMS came in like that would seem to indicate that MMS with these plans will be $.30 cents a pop... (if they even take the opt-out off on these plans).

Has your CLL2 stayed on your account for awhile? I've heard that it usually falls off after 1 or 2 billing cycles??

I am on a University FAN. It has stayed on for many months now.
 
Will this Stay?

I reserved the Iphone 3Gs for pickup at the Apple Store tomorrow. I noticed that it asked me what texting plan I wanted. Am I going to lose this texting discount on my account if I get the new phone?

I was told that rate plans and promo codes would not change.

I am activating a second line with the new iPhone, then taking that SIM and putting it in a standard phone and then switching my iPhone SIM to the new iPhone.

As long as you didn't select a specific texting plan, you should be fine. If you had to click Pay-Per Use or something, you might lose your old plan. I'd give AT&T a call if you're worried and see what they think.
 
hey guys does anyone know of a promocode for unlimited text? tms4 is 1500 which a lot of people are having issues with. so im thinking the next best thing is the unlimited one and i was wondering if anyone knew the pricing and code.
 
I'm not sure you will have an option to not choose a texting plan. Online there was only the options of None, 200, 1500, unlimited. My guess is at the apple store it will be on their little computers the same way.

I wondering if I should go to the AT&T store to buy it instead to have a better chance to not lose my texting plan???

You can just choose the None for the Text plan and it should retain your feature text plan from the code you used. So far mine was
 
I just got my new iPhone and when that happened I lost my 1500 text messages for 8.99 and the rep told me I can't get that readded on there cause it's not a iPhone text plan??

i'll probably be in the same boat.. i have a 1000 text plan for 10 bucks.. but i think it's text only.. would probably explain why my old phone wasn't able to sent or receive picture messages

but still, i see no reason it shouldn't work on the iphone. just at&t wanting more money i guess

I just activated a new iPhone at my local AT&T store. My situation may be a little different because I already had the code and activated a new line today.

This is how today went for me:

I already had a 3G with 12 months to go on the contract. I activated another line on my 3GS, switched that SIM to another phone, then took my old SIM from my 3G iPhone and put that in the 3GS. I kept everything I had on my previous plan without a problem.
 
I just got the TMB9 added to my account by the rep wouldnt let me add the u200. I used to have the TMS4 before but never really used that many texts.

is the u200 still working? I'd like to give it another try if I could.
 
After multiple tries on the regular customer service line, I called the Business Customer Support: 1-888-444-441 and after the second try was able to add it to 3/5 lines on my family plan, which now gives us an additional 600 minutes.

Hopefully it works out and the minutes get to stay on the account. The first lady asked me all these questions about how I came across the code, the second women just added it within seconds and didn't ask a question.

I got it on my 6th call, so I guess patience does help.
 
Hey y'all. I have a couple of questions here.

I won't have a FAN discount because I'm not at a college or university (though I do get an educational discount from Apple because my roommate teaches at a high school).

I've been skimming this thread trying to figure this out. What discounts are available for people who don't have a FAN account?

I would be buying an individucal plan. I could make it business or private as the phone will serve both purposes.

ALSO: I read somewhere in macrumors about a 30% discount on new iphones. I have not been able to refind it using search. Anybody remember what this was? I think the website started with a b? Thanks for any help.
 
bing.com and its cashback through the online att store. Make a cashback account first and get that activated before you do anything, plus discount only applies to the phone itself and not the plans.
 
how would you know if you're on a fan account?..

i've had service since cingular first started, and have been getting an $8 employee discount because my dad worked for bellsouth (plan was in his name originally)

would it say FAN or something on the bill anywhere?

Just downgraded from 900 min (I had 4500 Roll over)
Went to 450 Min with u200 (200) min free
used CLL2 (my university Alumni) 200 Free text.

AND bonus- He rolled over my remaining Roll Over of 4500 + gave me an additional 4k!!! Total of 8500 RO. Top notch!!

So I get
14% FAN discount
200 bonus min.
200 bonus text
8500/RO

My bill just went from 59.99 (less 14%)
data 30.00 (less 14%)
200 text 5.00

To: 39.99 (less 14%)
data 30.00 (less 14%)
400 text 5.00

Savings of about 20.00
:)

I never used all the minutes on my corp phone anyway, so I'll take it.
FYI I did have to call twice, second guy was awesome. I think I made out OK, thoughts?
 
tried to add TMB9..the guy said it doesnt work for the iphone 3G S and only the 200/1500/unlimited work :rolleyes:
