Has anyone been able to get RUN7 to work? early nights and weekends. Everyone keeps saying it's dead, but then again everyone said TMB9 was dead too

I just called to check, they said "can't find in their system.."

I checked the Howard Wiki, they said it's no longer in AT&T's system.

If AT&T will decide to flip the switch for MMS, we need a code for that one I believe or I might be wrong.

So I was reading through here and saw that few of you had the unlimited m2m texting. How did you get that? I called ATT to try and get it and they said there was no plan like that available.

Is it something they had a while ago and took away but couldn't take from you because you ordered it?

I dunno, we might not have a problem with MMS

The charges on extra texts work like this, I think:

10 cents for 200

5 cents for 1500

And for those of us on TMB9 it costs 3 cents if we go over our plan

So we have a pretty good discount on pay-per-use texting = good discount on pay-per-use MMSing?

We'll see, we just have to wait if AT&T decides to roll out MMS (or not)

Just to let you all know (and maybe this has been said before), all of these text messaging plans DO NOT include MMS. For each MMS you send or receive you will be charged an additional .30$. Trust me. I know this for certain because I have had many of these codes on my wife's Blackberry and anytime she gets or send an MMS we get charged an additional .30$ for it.

My advice, stay away from this if you plan to do any amount of MMS once ATT gets its act together and makes this active for the iphone.

Also, another point. Once ATT does make MMS active, we may all have to check our account again if you are using these codes because I have a feeling a lot of us will loose these codes again.
Hmm... you make a good point. I'm trying to figure out what to do because my plan sky-rocketed when I upgraded from the 2G to the 3GS. I'd really like to see if I can get the price to go down a bit. If I could get discounted texting, that'd really help out.

Has anyone been successful in getting the code added who is NOT part of a FAN account? BTW, can't believe that they charge $36 to enroll for the discount!!

Update: So I found a link on another thread regarding the FAN enrollment fee, and got that reversed. I tried AGAIN to use the TMB9 code with B2B CS, but was denied. Was told that they don't know the codes, but if I have one that works, she can apply it. Will try again in a few days with TMB9 and TMS4.

TMS4 does not work anymore. It's dead. I had to strip it off my account while doing an early upgrade to the 3GS and ended up complaining to AT&T executive customer service.

Good to know, thanks for that. Were you able to replace it with TMB9?

I've been trying for weeks to get TMB9 in my account but I keep getting denied... Only this one lady really did try but she said "that code isn't showing up for your FAN type" or something. Should I keep trying to give it up?

Keep trying, try to call on late business hours :p

So, it seems like AT&T has been monkeying around with texting plans for iPhone users, possibly to prepare for MMS. Anyhow, perhaps not-so-coincidentally, my account just lost the 200 free SMS for colllege students code that I have had in there for a month. Any ideas? I know they said it drops, but mine survived a bill cycle and then just dropped in the middle of the month (and it seems like I was pro-rated some SMS back).

Could that have been related to the changes other people saw? Or, is my University FAN just not going to hold those 200 free SMS? Thoughts?

Is there any kind of summary to this thread? I want to see how I can get a discount on sms but I don't want to read 52 to pages to find out how. I see all these code names but no instructions.

I work for HP and I was given a FAN number to add to my AT&T account to get the discount. With that number can I just call AT&T and have them add it to my account? Or will they just deny to do that for me?

First you have to have a FAN discount on your account.

After successfully doing so, you add either/or:
-TMB9 for 750sms for $7.49
-U200 for 200bonus minutes
-CLL2 for 200 bonus text messages (may drop after 1 billing cycle if FAN isn't an eligible College FAN)

They will ask you to fax your paystub or your badge if you want to do it over the phone, then wait 1-2 billing cycles for them to add it. Since you work for them, why don't you use your work email address instead and get it verified online?

So is TMB9 the code? Do you call and tell them to apply this or something. Are people telling the customer service people that their jobs/schools gave them the code?

Hmm this is where the thread of 52 pages comes in to play because each person has their variable story to tell when they add their codes to their account, I suggest you read at least the last 10-20 pages.

Ok cool. Just to clarify though, the basic idea is to call and say "hey, i'd like to add the TMB9 code to my sms account"?

You have to be on a FAN account (aka when you call in, they say thank you for calling business care). Otherwise, you have 0 chance of getting it to work.

It might take a few calls, and you have to be careful. AT&T doesn't really like these codes because a lot of people get them off the Internet (aka this whole thread =D).

yea none if these codes exist any longer from what I can gather. I have a FAN account and have tried 10 times or so over the last 2 weeks. All hours of the day and have been continually told TMB9 no longer exists
