wish i would have read through this forum before yelling at the rep. i had no idea that b2b 750 does not include mms and that was the problem. i kept getting ! when trying to send a pic after the updated carrier.

i called business care and the lady had no clue what was going on. after 20 mins she finally decided to call a tech. here's what pissed me off, the tech told her that it was a nation wide problem and gave her a ticket number wtf?! i called bs. i told her i was not satisfied so she transfered me to a manager that said b2b is text only and if i wanted pay per use mms she can add that. a pic was sent and i was good. took about 40 mins of hell.

btw, i used the stealth 6.0 carrier on OS 3.0 (jailbroken) and still have tethering.

So you have a b2b plan; failed to understand what that means, failed to read the message board before you called; have a jailbroken phone and an unofficial carrier file.

40 minutes of hell? WOW. Perhaps instead of getting angry you should just be thankful a quick (yes quick) resolution was made. Hindsight is 20/20...

Nope, people with unlimited plans had their message saying that they had unlimited MMS and it was included

so, my post means that people with discounted plans wont get MMS working unless they add pay per use

i got that same message and have the Iphone unlimited message plan, which includes MMS. I just checked with my OLAM.

Are there any codes working for more texts for less money that won't drop off after a month? I don't care about mms.

Did you bother to read anything in this thread? Seriously?

Actually I skimmed it tough guy. There's a million posts on codes working then not working and people having to call 5 times to get it to work. It would be much faster for someone to just answer me. If you're concerned with people wasting posts or asking unnecessary questions maybe you shouldn't make unnecessary comments. Kthx.

If you cannot be bothered to search, we cannot be bothered to answer.

Just confirming that MU01 works. Like others my account shows the messages as pay per use which means we will most likely be charged the .30 cent per message fee.

However, if you send or receive 25 or less MMSs per month it will still be a better deal than upgrading to the $15 plan.

So we just need to tell them we want to add a pay per use mms feature on our plan?

Yes, be nice and also say "yeah, my friend just had to do the same thing and he said the code that his rep used was MU01 and that is should show up as Pay Per Message MMS." That should easily get you there :D

Just an update, I called them earlier and said the same thing you suggested - they said no go and told me it's only under the iPhone messaging plan that I can have MMS. Tried again after an hour and two and still no go, they won't let me add a "pay per use MMS" on my plan instead they want me to change plans or my MMS feature will not work at all - I just lol'd but oh well, I gave it a shot :p

Well that's garbage. Keep trying. I called up and just told them my MMS wasn't working and the CSR told me (without me asking) that I needed to add a PPU option or change my plan. I had them add the PPU, they sent me a test MMS and now I'm good to go.

I agree. I currently have CLL2, and PPU was automatically added onto my plan. It's possible, just find someone who is willing to do so.

Ok I'll give it a try again, I should've known by now that it's all a game of chance.

Update confirming what most of you have figured out by now ... I spoke to one of the 'social media' representatives after some difficulty I had with MMS, and asked about 'these plans I'm reading about on the internet'. I was told that they are no longer given to new customers, but will not be taken away from existing. Since they were geared for business customers, none of them include multimedia messaging, and there was no (known) plan to include them in the future.

Also, since I thought this was interesting, I asked why messaging was a separate fee on top of an unlimited data plan. The same 'mechanism' is used to initiate the message, but the message is actually sent over the data network, therefore both are required.

I can obviously only speak for myself, but I'm not seeing anything in my OLAM that would indicate that I will be charged for any of my MMS. While I won't know for sure until I get my next bill, I haven't seen anything that says "pay-per-use", $.30/message, etc. All I see is that I have unlimited MMS, I've used 4 so far and all they appear to be coming out of my TMS4 package.

Just tried TMB9 with a FAN account and the rep said the code was no longer good.

He also stated no one has the ability to add different texting plans other than the 200, 1500, and unlimited from now on.

As has been said maaaany times before in this thread, you're going to hear all kinds of excuses like this. You just need to call back and try again.

Got it working after 20mins on the phone, somehow it just really needed some patience to solve it ;) I've got TMB9 with a pay per use MMS.

Good deal. Ironically enough, after being upset that it wasn't working and calling AT&T about it three times and finally having a CSR tell me the truth and add the pay-per-use MMS to my account...I haven't used it once.

i have the TMB9 on my account and they added the MU01 pay per use. they confirmed that my SMS will come out of my 750 sms package and that i will be charged .30 per mms. i can send and receive with out an issue.
the agent did remove tmb9 and re-added it yesterday and said he had to use a different system to do that, kinda a manual override.

This package works best for me. Two phones that send about 400-600 sms a month and maybe 1-2 sms every few months. thats only 15.00 bucks amonth vs 30 bucks a month going with a sms/mms plan for both phone. i'll take the 15 in saving.

I've tried it about 5 times as well. They keep telling me it's expired or no longer working. What do you guys tell them when they come back to you saying TMB9 is already expired?
