That's because TMS4 has been dead for 2 years now. The new code is TMB9. CLL2 and U200 are good, however, CLL2 will be dropped after a billing cycle if you don't meet the required college approved FAN#.
On a side not, my CLL2 was dropped despite me being in college. I know, not all colleges are available with this code.
can TMB9 be added to all 3 of my phone numbers on the account?
Do you have to be IN college - or just a college FAN? As an alum I get a FAN discount with my alma mater - wondering if I should try CLL2 or the TMB9
The first rep I spoke with tonight gave me some story about how customers are now able to add these features through myWireless... That was certainly a first. Not being a gullible sheep, I simply hung up and called back.
The second rep was able to add TMB9 to both of my lines (my girlfriend's line did not have a FAN number so the primary line's discounts must carry over to those underneath it; nice). This replaces my unlimited family messaging so I'm saving myself $15 a month. Not too shabby.
Anyone know if MP1M still works?
I spoke to a rep this morning. After a decent amount of time on the phone of him checking into it - he could add the 750 messages to my account if I still wanted to go ahead. I told him I might call back after the 25th to add it.
He confirmed with certaintly that the TMB9 code is old and is B2B meaning its a BUSINESS code which is set of for text messaging ONLY. ATT has moved to new bundles (the 200 / 1500 / unlimited) which will not incur more charges for MMS. The BUSINESS plans such as TMB9 are not set up for MMS. He wasn't sure whether or not MMS would even work as part of the plan or if there would be additional charges since the TMB9 plan is text only.
I'll wait and see on here if people wind up being able to send MMS and/or incur more charges for doing so with this plan in place.
While I don't plan on using MMS all that often - I would prefer not limit my abilities when it is available. And if the charges per message aren't that much - it still might make sense to go with the business code and pay ala carte for the few MMS I might send...
Something to consider based on my (and your) personal usage

The SOC text message plans include MMS just like the normal text plans. The same rules apply. The ATT system will NOT let you have 2 text message plans. If ATT adds a SOC text message plan, the system automatically removes any other text message plans.

Anyone with this plan ( B2B Txt Msg 750 ) and an iphone successfully sending MMS?
I'm not. I am getting the red exclamation mark![]()

For those that switched did you try with your B2B text plan...fail...change plans and succeed sending MMS.
I think I am going to wait a bit and hope they unblock the B2B's...I'll pay the per use pic message fee instead of moving to a 1500 15.00 plan....yuck!
MMS works fine with TMS4. You do not need to switch.
A simple reset of network settings solved the red exclamation point error for me after a call to ATT.![]()
