AT&T Feature Codes and Free Bonus Feature Codes Including TMS4 1500 SMS for $8.99

I just called for the second time and failed again. She didn't say she would be fired but told me that it is illegal to have that text plan because it is reserved for corporate plans (as in company provided phones) and not for personal lines with the corporate discount.

I'll try again tonight or tomorrow.
 
Have any students been able to able apply the TMS4 code to their university FAN accounts?
I just tried twice with no luck.

Do you get a discount through the company for which you work? If you're not sure, go here and check your eligibility.

I go there too, so did you sign up for the NYU Downtown Hospital Fan number?

Do you know how much the discount is? I'll let you know if I can get it added. I might do it within the next few days.
 
third try and the guy said they cannot apply codes over the phone and I would need to go to corporate and have them apply it.
 
Yeah I added the NYU downtown hospital fan number.
I had the FAN number applied to my account for the past year but I never got any discounts because there were none associated with the iphone.

I had to remove the FAN account when I went to buy the two iphones on launch day. I then reactivated the FAN number.
However, I have had no luck with the TMS4 code:mad:

I'm calling now right now. The lady said she would give me the $15 plan but it would discount to $8.99 through the university. She said a plan for $15 for $8.99 does not exist. I told her if she was sure I would get the discount then add it to my plan. I told her to send me an email stating what she told me. So if they don't give me the discount next month, I will call back and complain.

The rep I got was a lady called Cris, she was extremely nice.

I'm pretty sure I won't get the discount, and if I don't then I will call in the customer service and complain that I was told that I would get it. But if I magically get the discount then there are no problems at all.

I started off by asking to add the code TMS4 to my account and she said it didn't exist.

I go to Cal Poly in California and added TMS4 with no problem. It took about 5 minutes and was quick and painless. I called 611 and told the rep that I had a feature code I wanted to add. She asked what code, and I said TMS4, and a minute later she confirmed that it was the 1500 for $8.99. She then confirmed that she was removing the iPhone text plan and replacing it with the $8.99 plan.

It sounds like it only works for FAN accounts that are configured a certain way.

Got directed to a call center in india and a very nice lady named Priya, gave me the discount!
 
I've also been reading that the NYU FAN account will give us 15% off our monthly bill now that we are on 3g iphones.
The discount did not apply to the original iphone plans but apparently it does now...I hope to see some kinda discount in a cycle or two

That's amazing. I wish I remembered my password to my email for my last job. It was one of those fortune 500 companies, so I figure the discount would be larger.
 
I just called for the first time and I was told that [TSM4/TMS4] does not work for College Accounts and that [TMS4/TSM4] code would not even work for an iPhone because they have their own special code.

BS.

I'll call back in about an hour. I wonder if they keep track of your call records.

Keep trying you'll get it.
I was told the same thing three times.
 
I managed to get 2 great csrs. They both had a side conversation with me asking me how I liked the iphone and stuff. The first one didn't know anything about the feature code and put me on the $14.99 plan, so I called again and it worked perfectly.

Keep trying, just tell them you want to add a feature code TMS4. not TSM4

I called back immediately and got a different person who was able to help me. I would have called a third time, too, if necessary.
 
TMS4 worked for me, first try. Spoke to 'Ashley'. It took literally 2 minutes. She had me wait to verify that it would be applied, and when it did she removed my 200 for $5 I had on previously. Thanks MacRumors!
 
Feature code want to add: TMS4

Attempt #1: Woman said I would have to have it done at an AT&T store because I have an iPhone.

Attempt #2: Another woman confirmed I had an iPhone and put me on hold to verify that the code could be used with my plan. She came back and said that TMS4 is for regular phones and because I have an iPhone it can not be used.

Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.
 
I will give this a go myself, but one question. Are the codes for bonus minutes "one time" codes or are they every month? There is a code Y100 that is for 500 bonus minutes, but is that a one shot deal?
