Not true. Have to use the address ATT has on file for billing. ios Apple store app order processed at 803 and did not allow any edits to address. Had note saying have to use what's on file. Glad I got it corrected with ATT last night.
ok I'll take a look as it moves thru the process.It is true. It’s the same every year. Once your order goes to preparing to ship.. can’t do it during the processing stage. You will be able to go on Apple.com and change your address.

They've been rock solid the last few years.Maybe AT&T has gotten better recently, but the last time I ordered an iPhone from them it came a month late despite giving a ship time of a week. Granted that was like 10 years ago.
yup! same experience. The last couple of times i've ordered through AT&T the phone came on time with no issues.They've been rock solid the last few years.
Orders open early, breeze through the order screens, arrives on Launch Day.
My orders with AT&T are done before Apple opens their web site, haha!!
they primarily look at the front and back glass, in my experience.Of course on the preorder day I drop the phone I’m turning in (not trading in) in a parking lot. No major damage but the bottom of the steel frame is lightly chipped. Think there’ll be any issues with them accepting my turn in for early upgrade?
you can get it unlocked as soon as it's paid off, FWIW.The reason ATT has inventory is they are the "ONLY" Carrier that Locks EVERY iPhone. So ATT customers that know the significance will by from Apple and get the one that can go to any carrier. You lose the higher trade in's by trading into Apple for unlocked. Each way has it advantages based on your needs. IMHO

I can't believe how many errors people saw on the Apple site this morning. Such a variety. Mine was "phone number is required" but my phone number was there. In a few seconds the message went away by itself.This will be my first experience with ordering from ATT. I was able to get my personal order in with Apple, but my daughters I had to do thru att. Apple kept telling me my account info didn’t match. I hope everything goes smoothly
Did you order through Apple or AT&T?Mine's preparing to ship already! I have had the same iPhone XS Max for 5 years. The longest I ever went between getting new iPhones is two years before this. My currennt phone still works perfectly and the battery's still great. My MacBook Pro's battery is not.

No it will ship from an AT&T Fulfillment center on Thursday for next day delivery Friday September 22. For AT&T most orders will be via FedEx but others will be via UPS.Haven’t ordered through AT&T in years. Mine says “ships by September 21” I’m guessing that’s just a placeholder? weird...that sucks manFigured I'd chip in my negative experience here since a lot of people had positive ones. Got up at 6am ordered 15 pro max 512gb in natural titanium. Got launch day ship date. Then a few hours later an email from AT&T saying they had a technical glitch processing my order. Hours on the phone later find out the system just glitched, auto cancelled my order and there is nothing the AT&T reps can or are willing to do about it. So now will get the phone a few weeks later & have to go in to the AT&T store in person to process my trade in because they couldn't figure out how to do it online. Super painful experience makes me wish I went with Apple on the order.
