Here's a hint....NDA - Next Day Air. Guess what DEL CONF means? DELivery....

Conf = probably delivery confirmation i.e. Signature required.
 
wait im confused - does a tracking number get assigned in Asia, then scanned into fedex/ups system once it's in the states? Or is it not classified as "shipped" on the ATT site until it reaches the states and gets scanned? jw because once mine "ships" wondering if it's already in the US or still en route from overseas:confused:

Apple shipments come from China, ATT from TX.
 
Ups says my package was shipped on the 21st, says its getting picked up and taken to the ups facility, its next day air saver so do i get it today on the 22nd??? Lol its a long stretch

LOL. Thats quite a stretch. No you will not get it today. If it arrives early UPS will hold it for delivery on the 24.

Gotcha. It was just a thought. Well if our phones are in TN with NDA we should get them on the 24th. Using UPS before it takes a day to fly it to your nearest hub ( Mine would be Seattle )then process it to be shipped by ground the next day. 2-days = the 24th. I guess I'll have to cancel my Best Buy order....
 
Well I finally got my tracking number and email yesterday (late night). I almost lost all hope but GOONIES never say DIE.

I talked to AT&T Premier rep, she said as long as we haven't received a cancellation email from AT&T, we should receive the phone on launch day. Mine is still "processing" on the Premier site and "back-ordered" on the regular site :-( I hope she is right.
 
What is it that people do not understand about FedEx and UPS? UPS Next Day Air means if it is picked up before 5:00 pm on the 22nd it gets delivered by 10:30 am on the 23rd or they missed their deadline. Could the 'Anticipated Ship Date 'magically' change from June 22 to June 23? Yep. Do FedEx and UPS miss their deadlines? Sure, but they are not going to miss 600,000 deadlines.

In line with what Apple seems to be doing, my tracking information is showing a June 23rd delivery... for what it's worth:

Mine said the same, called fed ex they said it will ship wens day and deliver Thursday

Mine is coming from Tennessee via UPS.
 
I'm jealous that the thread has moved from the backordered and in progressors worrying to the people wondering when their tracking no. would show up on the carrier.

I'm a non premiere 6/15er, approx 545am, order date on ATT shows 6/17 due to shenanigans with Chase. Has been listed as in process since 6/17 and never backordered as far as I can tell. Hoping that tracking number drops today or at least they give me some kind of idea when to expect it.

edit: It is encouraging to see people who are checking throughout the day and actually say something like their status was "Updated in the last hour" or "Updated in the last few minutes." Keeps me moving, so if that happens to you, please post it.
 
I ordered 6/15 4:18pm EST. I received my Fedex tracking info yesterday. This morning, when I track it it says delivery June 23rd???? How can that be??? Will it actually happen? So strange. I ordered through regular Att and my card has not been charged.
