**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

Hi all. MRF newbie but I've been lurking here ever since the preorders kicked in. :D I've been constantly keeping track of my preorders during my 2-week vacation (no life, I know XD), so here's some info on my preorder and some updates on it:


6/15 preorder on ATT.com Premier, 5:09 AM PT (Daylight time?)

Finished preorder by 5:27 a.m., and got the confirmation email immediately after completion.

Btw, the Order status date on Regular ATT page is 6/16 for me. =( my card was never charged those small amounts and I never got the authorization hold, either. My card is Wells Fargo Visa Debit.

I never got the Attention! status only received, then processing by 6/17. It stayed that way for majority of the weekend. However, I just checked the regular ATT page tonight and found out that I'm no longer in backorder. YAY! Unfortunately I'm still stuck in the processing stage in premier, but I'm already feeling confident that the phone will be shipped in a few days, so I'm not too worried.

Also, I called the premier CS by 11:30 a.m. today (had to call twice because the first time was too busy and was hanged up on), the lady told me that my order was in process and that the warehouse was shipping my phone to ATT to be shipped to me. I would also get my phone on or after launch day.

I can't wait!

I just checked my regular ATT order status today and it SHIPPED!! I also checked my FedEx tracking and it just got picked up. Gonna deliver by tomorrow! I'M SO EXCITED!!!

Oh yeah, this is a 16gb btw. :3

Edit: I forgot, the premier site still shows my status as processing. I guess ATT must've forgotten to update that today. My Debit hasn't been charged yet, but I expect that to change on launch day.

Regular or Premier: Premier
Backorder??: Yes, first day through June 21st (guessing around 9:30-10pm it finally changed)

Ordered same time as you and I'm "in progress" still.
 
Tracking on FedEx now, estimated delivery 'Jun 23, 2010 by 3:00 PM.' No other status then received, though...

Exciting. 32 gb ordered through Premier, 15th order date on AT&T Status site.

AT&T really needs to pull through. I placed my order and received confirmation well before their "cut-off". Next time my order will go through Apple (or even better T-Mobile or Verizon). AT&T seems to have no pattern as to how they are fulfilling these preorders.

Unless ScarJo herself shows up on your doorstep and begs to have your babies, going to a Tool concert and getting your phone a day early might just be the perfect day. Last time I saw them was at the Fox theatre in Detroit. We managed tickets on the tenth row and it was worth every cent paid for the trip.

Pre-ordered 2 iPhone 4's from AT&T on 6/15 at 8:30am (32Gb model for me) and 9:00am (16GB model for the wife) respectively. Just got a confirmation the 16GB model shipped but no word on the 32GB, even though that order was placed first.

Anyone else pre-order a 32GB model on the 15th and have it shipped yet?
 
It is interesting that all those that have tracking numbers says the 23 by 3:00, I believe that is because they are going to hold on to all of these until tomorrow to ensure that we don't get them before launch day.:(

Interesting.. I just checked the regular AT&T site for order status. It didn't like the order ID so I used phone number.

Everything says still in progress, but my order date has been changed to the 16th, I ordered early on the 15th..

I kinda want to stab people..
 
item shipped this morning

ordered from at&t retail store @ ~5:30pm EST on 6/15

its in transit for delivery to store tomorrow.....you think they'll let me pick it up after its delivered?


2nd order is still in at&ts system listed as "in progress"

Got the same shipping info saying mine was coming from Memphis, TN....

Heres the weird part....the money WAS showing that it had been deducted on my CC, but I checked it again today....and the money was back on the card? Free iP4? :confused:

Quit with the paranoia, Seriously Im here because im anxious but alot of people are just pulling crap out of there asses to see what sticks.
 
dont worry about the 23rd delivery date; last year i got the 3gs showing delivery date is a day early, yet still got on the release day

It is now abundantly clear that the people who were forced to order through the Premier site are getting screwed big time.

Learn how to read your bank statements and how to read what att & apple said. You had a "pending" amount to ensure the funds were there so they didnt waste their time processing your order. Once AT&T gets around to it youll be charged.
 
Just got off the phone with premier

Pissed off right now. Summary of my situation:

1. Preordered through ATT Premier @ 12:10 PM Central on the 15th
2. Date ordered through premier site shows 15th and has a check mark under processed
3. Date ordered in regular ATT status shows 06/16/2010 and still backordered

I called asking WTF is it still backordered when people who purchased after me are already having theirs shipped.

CSR replied there was a problem in their system with many credit cards on the 15th even if they were entered correctly and the orders had to manually be entered in on the 16th. Then continued stating that the charge will show up on my bill instead of credit card once it's shipped out.

I then said so ATT lied when it said orders will ship on first come first serve basis.

CSR said i'm sorry.

I said this sucks.

CSR said, I right now see 5100 on backorder and 10000 coming in shipment by this evening so I'm fairly confident that you'll receive yours on the 24th. He told me to check again tommorow morning and if not updated with tracking to call back.

So basically even though i ordered early, I might not be getting it on launch day...
 
Ordered through Premier at 2:30PM eastern time on 6/15, processed on 6/16. Still listed as backordered. Credit card was authorized on 6/16. :mad:

No its not. You have until the night of the 23rd to worry. I ordered from premier at 4:30am CST and have a traking number.

No.. First is the authorization for the amount, to ensure you can pay in the pre-order process. When you recieve the phone and activate it, you will be charged the proper amount. If you don't activate after X days, I believe they will charge you the full amount.

Authorizations disappear after a time if they aren't acted upon.
