**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

I got a confirmation email today as well as a UPS tracking number. Although the tracking number isn't in the system yet.
Now I am confused.
My UPS tracking info has changed to "exception"
The description says the following:
AGENT PICKUP; IN TRANSIT TO UPS FACILITY
The delivery date now says 6/23/10.
Anyone else with something similar?
I was planning on staying home on Thursday, I guess I move that to Wednesday?
Do you have to sign for the package if UPS ships it?
Usually UPS says sig required in the status info.

Still having this issue. Mine says:
Clicking the tracking number just says it is not found.
Was hoping by this afternoon at the latest I would have tracking info.
I got an email from AT&T last night at 11:42pm saying that my order has shipped.
My mom ordered her phone from Apple, she has had tracking that's been working since Sunday night. I just wish AT&T were as on the ball with their tracking as Apple is.
I haven't been charged either for the phone. I was last week when i Preordered it, but then the charge disappeared late last week. Still waiting for it to be taken out again.
So has anyone with two 16GB phones in their order gotten a tracking number? I have never been on back order and placed my order at 11:20am pacific... and as I typed this I just got a text from AT&T saying thanks for upgrading. Why must the taunt me!??! Also, my hard was on hold for five hundred dollars last week.
Exception ususally means there's an error with the address, but I could be wrong
Stay home Thursday you will not get it the 23, Apple will have them hold it till then. I wish we would get them the 23 but it is not gonna happen

Apple sends out emails to their customers every year TELLING them that they will receive their phones a day early, and then they don't?

Will they also verify the shipping address? I know I entered it in correctly, but I just want to verify it and refuse to sit on hold for AT&T.
Ordered through Premier on 6/15 about 3:30 pm EST. Got the tracking number just now with delivery date tomorrow. This is for the 32GB model.
Anyone from Seattle for the shipping message? I am really going nuts now. I ordered 12 noon Pacific Time and things were smooth in terms of status update etc and now it is stuck and not showing shipping 
Are they shipping from California also Only in that case Seattle would be the last to get the status update as it is one of the nearest city from there.

Yeah same here, I'm in OK 32GB order says placed on the 16th. Feel very relieved that is has shipped
Neither Apple nor ATT had as a gargantuan pre-order screw up in past years as they did this year, nor did they ever have as many orders. What they have done in the past is irrelevant. I think they are purposely spreading the deliveries out over 2 days instead of 1 because;
1. Spreads the activations out.
2. Good PR to let some people get their phones 'early'.
3. Doesn't cost them anything. These phones were going to be held in warehouses, so all they had to do is tell the carriers to release half of them for delivery tomorrow afternoon.
Mine is being delivered in my name c/o the AT&T Store where I placed my order. (Although I was told that it could and would ship directly to my work address.) My tracking number shows that it has left Texas and is on the way to California, scheduled for delivery tomorrow by 3:00 PM.
I have a feeling that when I go to the store tomorrow, they aren't going to let me pick it up.
I think it's just a text version of the 'thank you for upgrading to iPhone 4--go to this website for upgrade info' email some people have gotten.
Nothing new, just clarifies what to do if you're NOT going to be using the new iPhone on the line that you upgraded with.
For what it's worth, I just called fedex with my tracking # and they told me it's scheduled to move tomorrow for Thursday delivery. It does not show up on their website but she did show it in her system.
