The AT&T store called me a while ago and said, "Don't come in till we call you telling you your phone is in". Fine, I asked if they are selling any to walkins, she said, "yes, there are two different blocks, preorders and those to sell to walkins". She claimed they can't save the walkin block for those who preordered. Go figure.....:(
 
I think it's the opposite. Seems the more I call, the more my order is getting delayed. Mine is still frickin' BACK-ORDERED :mad:

no kidding! I called three times already. I got from "you will get it on 6/24" to "you'll get it a few days late" to "you will get it by 7/14."
 
finally!

here's my story

ordered at 5:30pm eastern US on the 15 (AFTER THE CUT-OFF)

was never backordered, recieved confirmation email at 5:40

had to call on the 16th to verify identity, ONLY THEN was my order status readable online (FINALLY lol).

never a hold on my card, nothing. BUT THEN TODAY....

i get home from work, and.... my phone shipped out at 2:03 from TX for delivery tomorrow!!!

images attached include clips of my dock to prove real-ness, didn't want to spend time blocking out my tracking info etc etc...

AWESOME!

Ugh, I hate this.

People now getting phones tomorrow and I'm still back-ordered. Talked to Premier CSR and they wouldn't give me a straight answer.

What really worries me reading this thread is that while I have a Premier order date of 6/15, the AT&T wireless order date show 6/18.

I've seen lots of Premier orderers have a similar situation but everyone else shows a 6/16 or 6/17 order date, no one else is as late as my 6/18. This makes me angry as I think it means I'm at the back of the line and I got my order in at 12pm ET on 6/15, well within the supposed cutoff for 6/24 delivery.

I'm right there with ya. I have the same status dates as yours as I ordered at 8:15 a.m. MDT on the 15th :mad:
 
Update

Hello

backordered until this morning. Assigned a tracking number by 1pm today.

Ordered at 7:50AM EST 6/15 via Premier. Normal AT&T order status showed 6/18 as the order date.

FedEx tracking info reports delivery by 3pm tomorrow. Origin is Texas.

Those still waiting, best of luck.
 
I am still on backorder. Someone shoot me. Please. I ordered at freaking 5am cst on the 15th from the premier site. I swear this stress is killing me. :mad::(:mad::(

My girlfriend's order never showed backordered, but mine always did and still does, despite being ordered first. Neither have shipped.
 
When I called yesterday, the lady told me I will get it on launch day if I placed my order on 6/15 and have not received a cancel email from ATT.

Who do I believe?????

At my AT&T store they had to do all the orders manually because of the system crash and they didn't take anyones email so no one here got a conformation email. I went up there today cause I have a REP up there I always go see and they sent all his customers conformations to him
Even though my order hasn't moved off of "In Progess" I still have a feeling I will get it the 24th.

No, I'm at the back of the line. 6/15 Premier, shows 6/22 on the main site. And I still have 1 more Premier phone that hasn't even made it to the main site.
 
But I do have some alcohol so I guess it all evens out. :eek:

Hey I need one piece of info guys. Will it be possible to pick up the phone from the AT&T store tomorrow. Mine is scheduled to be delivered by 3PM tomorrow, guranteed by UPS. So the store folks will have the phone @ 3.

I donno why the hell did I opted for in-store pickup. May be the madness at the store took away my sanity that day :p

Knowing that the phone is in the store waiting for me for another 18 - 19 hours and being away from it would be painful :( Moreover, I can avoid the madness of 24th if I can pick it up tomorrow.

Anybody in the same boat as mine, please update me :)
 
Status

Ordered on 6/15 @ 1:30 pm (PDT). Confirmation email shows as 6/16/10 - order number 6808....

Always showed as 1 0 0 and has not changed as of 5 minutes ago.

I did talk to a rep this AM who said I will get my phone "Between 6/24 and 6/28" but could not say when. She suggested I keep checking the site.
 
Regarding no info for Carrier tracking

If a tracking number does not show up in the carrier (UPS or FedEx) system, it likely means the manifest information was likely not uploaded correctly by the shipper.

The label was still printed and went on the box. Box was still shipped. But since the carrier does not have the shipment in there system, there's nothing to attach the statuses to.

The 2d barcode has enough information to deliver the package and bill the shipper.

I would not fret. The package will still get delivered. The information will likely show up after delivery.
 
for what it's worth, i ordered at 5:30am EST on the 15th. I've had a shipping tracking number for at least two days. But it's still inactive. Which is a bummer because me 3G barely works.
 
All I can say is be patient.. I've been waiting and waiting and mine JUST updated in the last 5 mins with FedEx tracking info.

Normal order online @ 11AM EST 15th. Got email the 17th with a 16th order date.

Money is not out of my account, they put a pending payment in but that has since vanished.

I was hoping for something like that... So I called AT&T. I've had a tracking ID since Sunday. They don't show my shipment in their internal "carrier tracking" system either. They promised to figure out what's happened and call me by tomorrow. Oh well. You will all have your phones and be tired of playing with them and I'll still be anxiously waiting. (And planning the demise of AT&T)

Unfortunately this is exactly what they are doing....going by the date that it was entered into the fulfillment system, and not by when you ordered it on the Premier site.........the 611 CSR told me that yesterday.......but I figured I would still call again today so that they'd have a record of my persistence...

Sometime within the last hour or so my orders went from 101 to 100! It looks like several other people on here had the same thing happen to them. My guess would be that ATT just got a new block of iphones in. Hopefully it ships soon!
