Thanks for the information. I do not see how Att will be able to activate all of these phones on the 24th. I see the same thing that happened with the first Iphone happening all over again, I would guess it will take a week to get all of these phones activated. Sprint's system crashed with 60,000 activations! Try 600,000!!!!!!

Good news to report! I am a premier customer, ordered as of 5:15am EST, my backordered just went from "1" to "0" and the pre-authorization on my credit card disappeared.

I really hope all of us are stressing over nothing. I think in any case next time around I will have Apple handle my order, but I think all of us having this happen at the same time is a good sign.

Has everyone's credit/debit amounts cleared? I never got a second email confirming my order for my phones like many here said they did, my status still shows processing and my bank doesn't show any charges other than a preauthorization charge from last Tuesday. I just hope everything is still a go.

Mine shows "in progress" with 1 in qty ordered... yet I have received a PHONE CALL from AT&T telling me my phones have shipped... no email though.

I love my AT&T store manager She rocks! (and she's sexy as hell!!!)

AT&T will give us tracking orders once it shows up as shipped on the order status page. i think they'll email it to us, and it'll show up on the order status page.

Me, I ordered around the same time you did 1:15 AM PST on 6/15 and still see backordered. I'm not too worried though.

We have to remember that last year Apple Orders shipped before AT&T orders.

AT&T Orders came out of Dallas for me as Apple sends AT&T theirs beforehand then AT&T ships them from the US.

Apple ships out of China.

A charge wont clear unless its shipped. Pre-Auths will stay put until that occurs.

At times a pre-auth may drop off after so many days in which AT&T may pre-auth again until the ship date or wait until the ship date to do the charge.

Even though many orders are no longer backordered, I won't feel 100% comfortable until AT&T gets their act together and sends out tracking numbers. Come on already...

I never got a "confirmation" email, but I got the one about my new 2-year contract agreement or the CSS email. I pre-ordered in-store on the 15th. My credit card shows a pending balance of 323.29, but if I click on it, the pre-authorative charge is now gone. The amount has been deducted from my overall credit as well, so it's been charged.
