I'm a new AT&T customer that pre-ordered the i4 at 6am EST on the 15th. I am porting a number over, and called AT&T to make sure all was well with the port, and they said both authorizations for the number were perfect.
When I log into "Order Status" it will not let me use my order number, it says not recognized. However, when I use my ported number, it lets me in. Shows the order date as 15th, In Progress, with 1's in "QTY ORDERED", and thats it. I called my bank, and they do have a record of AT&T sending a pre-authorization request being approved, but there is no record of it in my list of transactions.
My questions are, is the phone number the only way to check your order status, or have others used the order number? And when I try to create an account on AT&T for My Wireless, I enter my ported phone number(the same that gets me into order status), it tells me that they can not find a record of my number.. Is this because I have not activated the service yet?
