**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

I am currently in processing, is the next step shipped? Or will it say backordered? And once its shipped, will I get an email or do I need to check site every day?

If you look at your order status results theres a column that says "QTY Back-Ordered" under this heading you will see three "1's" this means that they are on backorder. Your status will say "in progress". The next step is coming off of backorder. the "1's" in that column will turn to "0's" after that you will receive your shipping information. AT&T should have your e-mail and will e-mail you when it is shipped and after that you just keep tracking your shipment!!!

For the people who ordered through Apple:

This an AT&T thread. Orders made through Apple generally take longer than AT&T orders. Hope this helps.

I, as well as quite a few people over at the att forums who ordered on 7/9, have come off backorder! You should be getting yours very soon as well!

I suggest you wait for it. FedEx is no longer delivering the iPhones for AT&T. I'm sure it has to do with the many reports of stolen or damaged items.

Is this true though? FedEx is definitely still delivering phones from what I have seen. Plus, they don't leave Apple products without a signature. UPS leaves everything.

17th - 7/7ers and 7/8ers
19th - some 7/8ers
20th - 7/9ers (so far)

if we carry the trend on.. hopefully it will go like this

21st - 7/10ers
22nd - 7/11ers
23rd - 7/12ers
24th - 7/13ers

hopefully they speed up the process though

I got Fedex also but I have seen several people who ended up getting UPS second day air instead. Not sure why yet.

Tons of reports is a hyperbole. I work at Fedex and I know that they replace any broken or stolen merchandise. Yeah it's inconvenient that they will have to wait for another but at least its not on you. I'm sure if any other shipping company dealt with all of the iphone's there would be reports of stolen goods.

Also, maybe apple shouldn't stamp the on the side of the box.

What part is not true? 7/9 orders did get shipped today. UPS is shipping iPhone 4's. And there are also reports of stolen/damaged iPhone4s shipped through FedEx.
