i just unboxed my phone from Fedex. The packing "bubble" was broken so there was nothing to stop the phone from bouncing around inside the much bigger shipping box =/

Box looks perfect shape though so Im not worried.

Just thought I would throw that out there.

I ordered a 16gb on 7/12, mine still says processing on the Premier website. In order to get the order to show up in the other AT&T status page I need to search on my work phone number I provided when I ordered. Mine is still on backorder, so I assume yours is as well.

My 16gb black, ordered from AT&T Premier came off backorder status this afternoon. Here's hoping it ships today.

We are in the same situation. I ordered mine 7/12 at 7pm in-store. I just checked my status and I'm still on backorder too. I think we should see something happen tomorrow since I've seen people on here getting their 16G's from 7/10 it looks like.

I've never had to wait this long for any phone! I hope it's worth it :D

Oh, and btw I'm in the MD/DC area. 16G ordered.

I am too, and I think it may be a random shipping order at this point, nothing else makes sense.

good luck ill be following you closely my order date says the 13th though I did it on the 12th over the phone around 1pm so hopefully when yours comes off back order mine will be right behind it... as of 2:54pm EST im still on backorder with an order date of 7/13 I havent seen any 7/11 or 7/12 come off backorder yet
 
I have a 16g and 32g on order.....the 32g finally came off BO today. The other one sits on BO still. I assume they wait to ship both.

Ordered 7/6, even though it shows one of the two places I can check that its 7/13.

Its been a while since I've been roaming these forums, and I decided to join. I ordered 7/13 off premier, 16gb, nor california. I've been wondering how people who ordered off premier know if their phone is off backorder. I can only check my status in this webpage. https://www.wireless.att.com/business/order_status/
is there a problem if I can't check it in the regular order status page? If anyone can help, I'm in need of some insight. Thanks Everyone
 
from my post above....I now have a tracking # on the 32g and the 16g still on bo. wifey will be pissed as she is waiting for the 16g.

from the post right above this, log into att wireless with your cell number and check the order status there. my premier status (from the same link you provided) doesn't show the one phone as shipped yet.

From the order status that you told me, it says that my information is not recognized by the system... Im freaking out.:eek:

Did you use your order number or your wireless number? You could call make sure the order has been processed by AT&T. If it has not been processed you can negotiate and have your $18 fee waived. Don't be afraid to ask.

I used both, for my order number, it said the system didn't recognize it. For my home/work number it only had an order I placed back in 2008. No iPhone. I called this number 1-877-782-8870 and the operator told me it was backordered, which was expected. Still I'm a little worried that I can only check my status on the premier page, and not on the regular site. As I've seen, the regular order site is updated more often, and on there you can actually check the backorder status.

same here, i ordered 2 phones. One i am switching over and the other is a new line. The new line order number does not work to check the status...

how do we get free bumpers? I am still waiting on my phone but what should i do to get the bumper from apple?
 
Ordered on 7/6 on AT&T Premier for two new (transferring number) lines, both with 16GB iPhone 4's. Due to a credit card issue, order date on the regular order status page is listed as 7/12. They just came off backorder, :D
Following up on this, since my status changed:
7/06 @ 6pm - Placed Premier Order (Order date: 7/6), two 16GB iPhone 4's, both new lines, both transferring #'s
7/07 - Credit Card issue changed Premier Order Status to /!\ Attention
7/12 - Credit Card issue resolved, Premier Order Status is "Processing", regular Order Status is backordered, Reguar Order Date: 7/12
7/20 @ 12:00pm - Backorder changes to "0"
7/20 @ 5:00pm - Status changes to "Shipped", tracking number provided
7/21 Will be delivered by 3pm

It seems that 7-10 actual (not business!) days is the average turn around time, based on the date in the regular (not premiere!) order status page. For those who placed their order through premiere, the order number you were given is ONLY for premiere, and will NOT work in the regular order status page. You have to use the main wireless phone number to check order status (once you fill it out and get through, you will be given the "actual" order # too). Good luck to all!
