My iphone status on att says it was shipped today, but when i click on tracking number (UPS), nothing is showing up. anyone else having this same problem?
I know it's hard to wait, but give it a little time. Once the tracking order is assigned (which happens when they create the label), they post it to your order...but the carrier from my past experience won't have it in the tracking system until they actually receive the package to ship. It has to be picked up by the carrier's driver...and only then does it get scanned in.
Do you have updated numbers?
It seems like they went through 3 or 4 days of 16GB orders in the past 24 hrs (7/13 to 7/17 taken off backorder according to this thread). That gives me hope that mine will be off backorder tomorrow! I ordered 16GB on 7/20 through AT&T

Whoops, was so excited that I forgot to put that in, although if you search you could find it too:

i called att earlier today and the rep told me that they get shipment from apple every week. so they are able to fill full a lot of orders on tuesdays.
user ShaRose posted these numbers yesterday, he/she said they were an AT&T rep or something like that. Keep in mind this is the internet and I wouldn't bet my life on the accuracy of those numbers..The post is a page or two back in this thread

ordered through premiere on late 7/12. premiere order says 7/13 but regular site 7/14. came off backorder this morning and just got shipping info about an hour ago. arriving tomorrow 7/28 before 3 in socal 😀
seems like a lot of us 7/13-7/16s are finally getting our phones. whoever said at&t gets a lot of shipments on tues is spot on.

Mine came off backorder at some point last night which led me to believe that I would receive shipping info today. However, at this point there is still no shipping info. It simply shows 1 in qty ordered and 0 in backordered but the status is still in progress and has not shipped.

I called AT&T and I asked for the Ordering Department and they said there is no such thing.
Anyone here find out a way to cancel an AT&T in-store purchase? I purchased a 16 gig on July 23rd. Thinking it will take at least 10 more days to get to me if current trends continue
My local best buy has them in stock so that's why I wanna cancel
