**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

off back order
So I just came off of back order, but no shipping info or tracking number, does this mean my iphone is being processed or does it mean that funds are going back to my account and I'm off the order list? info please, if you can provide it

The last time i checked before this morning was around 1 am and it was still backordered. So it came off some time around 1-10am and I got my shipping info around 11 am. Hopefully that helps. Your iphone time will come soon
My premier said in progress for an hour or 2 after I got my shipping info. It now says shipped though. Does your tracking number give you an estimated delivery date?
Just checked the OSR page and have a FedEx Tracking number which indicates it has been picked up in Fort Worth, TX for an estimated delivery of 3 PM tomorrow (7/28). Still no change at the premier OSR page (shows processing with the last update as 7/15) and still no notification of shipment to my e-mail address.
Looks like Premier takes upwards of two days to register as an order and, then, the 10-12 calendar days (or 12-14 business days) is holding true for 16s.

Fair enough. Weather delays are possible just not at all likely. Unless there's a blizzard.
Actually they do, at least at my hub they do. i work 10 pm to 3 am and theres a shift that starts at 3:30 am to 7:30 am. Same goes for the rest of the day

If you have an estimated date of delivery, it should show up on the UPS tracking page at ups.com. I'm not sure about the AT&T status page as mine hasn't shipped yet.
Almost identical for me. Only thing I have different is I have to wait til the 29th by 4:30pm
I preordered from Premier. They sent me an email the day before it was supposed to arrive asking me to call with more information. I was on hold for an hour, someone transferred me to the porting department, the lady in porting had no idea why I was transferred to her, so she transferred me back to wait on hold for another hour. The next person I spoke to said she had no idea why my order wouldn't go through, canceled it, and said I'd have to order in a store.
I completely lost interest, but my husband still wanted the darn phone, so we finally ordered from AT&T (no Premier--16 GB x 2) around noon on 7/12. My order date on the status page is 7/13. It came off backorder around noon yesterday, but I haven't received shipping info. The hold is no longer on my credit card. I got worried that maybe my order had been canceled again, so I just called. I explained my entire situation. The guy put me on hold for 15 minutes and then told me proudly that he was able to find out that it should take 7-14 days and I could check my order status online. I told him again, yeah, it'd been 15 days, and the order status online was the reason I was worried that my order had been canceled again. He assured me that it was in progress.
Thanks, buddy. I'm glad you were able to do in 15 minutes what I can do in 30 seconds on my own. I look forward to 2 years of super awesome AT&T customer service if I ever do actually get a phone.
Update:
So I got my shipping information! It should arrive tomorrow (7/28) via fed ex. I ordered the 16gb at the att store on 7/14.
I CANNOT WAIT!
Same here, Ordered 2 16gb from AT&T on 7/14, got shipping info last night 7/26, shipping info indicates it will arrive tmr at 3 !!

Date registered on ATT website: July 20 (There was a problem with our order that we didn't know about till we called to check the status, so the order was on hold until then)
We ordered a 16 gig and a 32 gig. 32 gig came off backorder and shipped today. 16 gig still backordered.

7/13 Off Backorder! Update
My 16gb shipped from Ft. Worth TX @ 2pm and it's with UPS. 2-day air! It's coming all the way to San Francisco. Estimated Delivery 7/29 but I think it might come tomorrow...Best of luck to everyone else waiting!

Ordered 7/13 from ATT Store.....only showing "In Progress" and nothing else. No one at ATT or the ATT Store can tell me anything. No Tracking number yet or Shipping Information....
Sure wish mine would be delivered on 7/29 like a lot of others....still waiting IMPATIENTLY!!!

you can go the regular att wireless site to get better info.
I am able to find my order using my work phone number.

As far as tracking numbers are concerned - go to the fed-ex site for updates.
If a tracking number was assigned (automatically at att warehouse) but Fed-Ex has not picked-up/scanned it yet - it will not show at fed-ex as anything. Think about how you can manually fill out a fed-ex label - you have the tracking number that minute, but fed-ex doesn't know anything about the shipment
