**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

Ordered: 32gb (7/24 at&t store)
Off backorder: 7/27 at about 1:00 p.m.
Shipped: 7/28 3:00 p.m.
Estimated arrival: 7/30 via FedEx by 4:30 p.m.
 
Order placed: 7/23, 9:11 AM Eastern, Premier Website, 32 GB
As of 10:34 PM 7/28 (today), off backorder!

Woo!

Note: Premier website status: Totally useless!

Shipping Info via UPS on 7/28

But it only says "2nd day air" no "estimated arrival time" as some have gotten, it does show departure scan 6:28 local time Ft Worth, Im in NJ... I hope to get it tomorrow!!!??

Just finished ordering the 16gb iPhone 4 through At&t
currently it is being processed.

Will be updating untill i get it!

currently on back order.
hopefully its out of B/O by Monday next week.
or sooner.

Ordered in store on 7/23 2- 16gbs....still haven't received any notifications...except the device tutorial emails AT&T sends out after a purchase
 
My phone is supposed to be delivered tomorrow via FedEx, but I won't be home until 7PM or so. Does anyone know what they usually do if you aren't there? If they can just try delivering it on Friday that'd be great.

Order mine thru corporate on 7/19 (premier)
Order went thru on 7/19 @ AT&T
Still on backorder for the 16G with update on 7/20 showing
Too bad can't order the 32G ... :D

Guess will be at least next week before getting ship to office when I have to leave town for a business trip ....

It seems so. I also ordered in store and don't have it on my order. Makes sense because people who ordered the phone online are having it delivered to their house, so instead of going to AT&T to activate it, they will have the SIM already and can go straight to iTunes to activate it.

I guess I figured it out on my own and didn't need to ask, haha.
 
Ordered a 16GB on 7/20 via Apple.com

Still backordered

Hoping to grab one at the Apple store tomorrow if they have them and cancel this order

If you are in NorCal and can make it into the Walnut Creek Apple Store, they had plenty of phones in stock. I walked in at 5pm, was #5 in line and walked out 15 minutes later, no reservations , no priority list. They must have had a few dozen if not more when I left the store.

At our house I expect UPS between 4:30 to 6:00, since that's when they tend to come. The drivers have delivery routes and they tend to repeat them day after day.

Origin scan is a fairly useless data point for UPS tracking. Check it after it has had a chance to get sorted.
Also UPS NEVER comes early. If it is shipped 2 day air - it will be 2-day air. The only alternative is if you live in the same area as the shipper.

ohh okay thank you. Was curious because someone else posted a screenshot of their ups tracking info and i didnt even get an estimated delivery date. I didnt know if second day air meant the day after it shipped or two days after it shipped, since mine shipping wednesday morning, i assume its coming friday and not thursday?:confused:

I wonder what accounts for the apparent discrepancy in the processing and shipping times. It seems like some orders are off backorder in a few days, while others can take weeks. Seems weird!

Anyway, ordered in AT&T store on 7/25, and still on backorder. Hoping it comes off backorder sometime next week!

It's quite simple. It depends on when AT&T gets there shipment in. If you place an order when AT&T gets a huge shipment in, you'll get the phone very fast, if you place an order when AT&Ts shipment ruins out, you'll have to wait a while.

Just ordered new iPhone 4 32GB Black, also 2 Refurb 3GS 16GB Black with AT&T as I am switching the rest of the family Wife + two sons to AT&T.

The guy in the store last night said anywhere from 1-3 weeks for the i4, but I should have the 3GS in a day or so.

You should have your 32 by next Friday at latest. I ordered mine last Saturday and get it tomorrow.
