**AT&T iPhone 4 Order Status Thread**

I ordered on the 15th around 2:30 or 3PM Eastern time and mine said "ordered on 6/17" so join the club. I called AT&T about it and they said that it was just how the system was allocating the backlog they had. She confirmed I would get mine on the 24th. I am a little more worried now since a lot of folks are getting that it's shipped but mine still says in progress. I guess I will check at the end of the day today and then call customer service to see what the status is. I'm sure they won't like that.
 
so my cc has not been charged but my order was shipped out on the 17th... idk what this means cuz i thought they said they would charge when they shipped.

They systems are updating- give it a few hours and you will be fine.
 
Shipped

I checked my status yesterday and it said still in progress. Checked today and it has shipped via fedex :D. It says the ship date was 6/17 which seems earlier than what everyone else has been saying. Odd but certainly not bad.
 
Ordered mine at 7am on the 15th, today status is updated with tracking number and that it was shipped on the 17th... still crossing fingers for 24th delivery.
 
Ordered two iPhone 4s on 4:25AM MDT on the 15th... They're not backordered but still "In-Progress" and no tracking... :(:(:(

Also ordered mine through the ATT store with a paper receipt. Does your order start with "X6822"?
 
I ordered two phones for a family plan in the AT&T store around 5:50pm on the 15th. Both orders say they were placed on 6/15. This morning the second order, which was placed 5-10 minutes after the first, has been marked shipped and given a tracking number. The first order still reads "In Progress" but not back ordered. What are the chances I get both phones on the same day?
 
ordered mine through an AT&T store on 6/15 and it says it was shipped on the 17th. sweet!

my order was placed around 8:45am EDT on the 15th. it's good to have AT&T friends on the inside. ;)
 
I was first to order at my store (9:00am-10:24am CST), two iphone4 32GB to replace two current iphones. The first phone went through before the system crashed. The second phone was via paper, the rep wasn't able to put it into the system until the next day.

Present status: First phone is listed as ordered on the 15th, shipped with tracking number and FedEx as the carrier--no information via FedEx yet; Second phone listed as ordered on the 16th is still "in progress" with all items marked ordered.

Neither phone has ever been in the back-ordered column, both phones are listed with freight and sim.

Edit: I have yet to receive any e-mail from AT&T. I never received a confirmation e-mail after I ordered. I gave the AT&T rep two e-mail addresses and neither have received anything to date.
 
For those whose order status says 6/16

I do not think anybody has shipped yet. So far it seems those who have a 6/15 order date are going first.

It will be interesting to see if the 6/16s get queued to go or not. Especially since I ordered on 6/15 @ 8AM.
 
I did have an e-mail about my package... ...only to realize it was about the very very wrong package. Love junk mail.
 
Ordered a 32GB iPhone4 via AT&T Premiere on 6/15 @ 7:00AM CST and I just checked the order status on ATT and it shows shipped and there is a tracking number.
 
Ordered through ATT on 15th SHIPPED!!

Both my orders say shipped with FEDEX tracking #s. SWEEEET!

I have a tracking number and says it shipped on 6/19 but it still has 0's on the "shipped" column. Does that mean it will just update later or do I have a problem?

Ordered right before 9AM the 15th eastern time. I too am still back-ordered and "In Progress".

Could it have something to do with location? Perhaps areas that will take longer to ship to have gone out first? I'm just trying to figure out why some Premiere orders have shipped....while others are in Progress (some having back ordered checked while others 0s).
 
Got off the phone with Premier Rep.

I am new here but I am a regular follower.

Ordered mine at 2AM PST on 6/15 on Premier. However, order date on attwireless shows 17th. CC charged.

My premier status still shows processing and attwireless.com status shows 101. After :30 minute wait, I finally spoke with the premier rep and she said that my orders (2 iphones for me and my wife) is complete and ready for shipping. I told her that attwireless.com shows that it's on backordered and she confirmed it's not. I even asked if there were CC issues and she said none since it's complete. No tracking until it actually ships and she couldn't tell me when it will ship.

At this point, I am just waiting and not going to let the web status concern me. After reading many posts, existing orders are out of our control. We just have to wait.

I think we will all be fine, we just need to be patient while AT&T gets everything sorted out. It's very discouraging to see other people get their tracking numbers, while us unlucky ones are feeding off each other's panic attacks.

I am hoping I can follow my own advice and show some patience...
