AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

64gb white 4s just changed to zero for backorder.

Maybe there is still some hope for a tomorrow delivery!
 
Looks like my backorder status just changed to a 0, still no tracking but at least thats progress! Its kinda like waiting for Santa for adults. . just never sure if your naughty or nice.

Mine too!!! Must have just changed within the past hour or so. Still no tracking info, but this is the most progress I've seen.

Ordered on the 7th at 1:00am Pacific from regular AT&T site (not Premier).

If you're still here...don't give up. I believe Apple, AT&T, Fedex and UPS are working overtime to process all orders and get them out this weekend. Now you may not get your phone on launch day, but it ain't the end of the world. You will most likely get it sometime this weekend. These companies will be processing these orders all day today, tonight, tomorrow morning, and tomorrow night...to get these processed and delivered by Saturday evening. Even if you get your phone late Saturday, you'll still have Saturday evening to set it up and all day Sunday to enjoy it! RELAX!!! :cool:
 
I'm all new to this.. I have the iPhone3G but when I purchased it I just went to the store because it has been out for a while.

I pre-ordered the 4S around 6:30pm EST on 10/7 with a human at the AT&T store (actually a co-workers husband). Right now my status on the AT&T website is showing backordered.. does the site not update as quickly as the information is actually real? In other words, is it possible my iPhone will be shipped today but the website isn't going to show that?
 
2 tracking numbers for FedEx

Does anyone else have 2 tracking numbers from FedEx? I do for some reason but I also ordered a case too so maybe they have 2 seperate packages but then again everything is suppose to come together?

Is this the case for anyone?

Ordered 10/7 at 2AM PST. Finally off backorder.

Hi everyone! I am brand new to the iPhone and AT&T. I have been using an android phone (which I seriously love) but switched to AT&T and iPhone for work. I'm sure I'll love it as well, as I have always loved Apple products.

Anyway, I went to an AT&T store on my lunch break (I live in CA) on the 7th to pre-order. I got the white 32gig phone. My order status is still in progress, 1 backordered, pending shipment. I hope they somehow ship the phones for the people who ordered through a brick an mortar store today so we can all get our phones tomorrow!

I have an order placed at 8 am pst on the 7th which has no tracking through premier, backordered on the att order site, which also incorrectly states the order date is the 8th while premier correctly states the 7th.

Mine is via UPS and tracking has it at DFW airport

Ordered AT&T.com at 7:30am EST
 
Preordered in store at around 1:30 PM EST on the 7th. Still showing that it's backordered. Not looking good for a launch date delivery :( Hopefully the order status just hasn't updated yet and it shipped today.
 
just spoke with ATT rep....Guy sounded like he was eating his 10th doughnut of the day....

ANYWAY..

He told me that my order that was "processing" is actually BACK ORDERED, and I wont receive it until next week

Personally I'm starting to get worried. I haven't freaked out until today when I still don't have shipping info. Let me ask you guys this, people that still haven't gotten shipping information what did your order number start with? Mine starts with 740*******. I noticed other people that have had their phones shipped have orders starting with 10****** so I'm thinking I missed the boat here. Thoughts?

I had two tracking numbers. I ordered a 4s and an Invisible Shield for it. The invisible shield shipped on Tuesday and was delivered yesterday.

The phone just left Fort Worth about an hour ago. (Woohoo!)

AT&T met their shipping promises, but their system and updating just wasn't as smooth as most would like. I'm expecting that we will begin to see lots of updates to shipping/processing in the next couple of hours with most pre-orders (done early last Friday) being delivered tomorrow. That's just my experience after a few years of dealing with these.

In Store Order Delayed?

I am noticing a trend that irrespective of location and time... folks who ordered ATT in-store on 10/7 are still on back order (including me) ..

Could ATT be receiving some of these phones and repurposing them for Walk-in customers tomorrow? Since we are already in ATT's stranglehold ?

Love Apple ... Hate ATT :mad:

I think you guys will be okay. If you look at the previous page, lots of people who ordered early (such as myself) are finally getting updates.

Same issue here in Florida... Same order but just now got switched from back order to processing..l so I guess I'm in the second shipment

I'm trying to be very positive. I won't truly lose hope until the end of the day. I'm crossing my fingers for everyone!

Same situation... I spoke with an agent last night and this morning, and they said "if you ordered before 5:30, you should definitely expect your phone tomorrow regardless of what the system says."

Oh yeah: I'm still on backorder, I ordered i4s 64 in white. Called att in a fit of distress and was told that the order is "processed" but they are waiting on a phone to be put in a box and shipped. They may or may not actually HAVE a phone for me, he had no idea. He said if I have tracking or shipped confirmation by 5 I will get it tomorrow. *biting nails*
