AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

Hey Cali...our phones arrived in Ontario, CA at 430 pm...looks like we'll have them in our hot little hands in less than 22.5 hrs. :D

I ordered the same time online also and still nothing but thank you for posting this it gives me hope!!! Even if it doesn't get here tomorrow knowing anything would be better

if your tracking info says "Next Day" you are priority delivery and you will get the phone early in the day. Drivers will deviate from their regular route to get your package by a certain time.
If it says "Next day AIR SAVER" you will get it at the normal time UPS usually gets to your house/office.

so in my case, mine says Next Day Air Saver. Instead of getting it at 10am, im getting it at the usual time of delivery for my street (3pm). According to the UPS guy about 45 min ago.

Hopefully this is true. If they come at their normal time i'll be getting it around 5 :(
 
Mine is shipping fed-ex and just left Fort worth, tx. Thought att screwed up for sure. Ordered first thing at 5:40 am cst did not show ordered till the 8th but looks like they had things right just slow updating info. Does anyone know if you can leave not for fedex to leave at door? And how are you guys tracking the flights mine is coming from ft worth to arkansas? Thank you and good luck to everyone with no info!

It is about half way to my house :D I can't wait for this phone! Maybe I should meet the driver half way :D

Mine is in Memphis, headed my way!! Great thing, my 3GS is on its last legs, and unfortunately my iPad 2 iBricked with error (9) after 2 hours of wifi-syncing and use. At least this will brighten my day a little bit. For reference, order around 2PM EST 10/7. Good luck to everyone!!

According to UPS.com:

Import Scan: The shipment has cleared import procedures in the receiving country.


Don't worry you will get your phone, mine was stuck at import scan but is now in Houston, Texas (I live there)!

I ordered on the phone on 10/7, got T&C on 10/10, and my backordered status changed from 1 to 0 a few hours ago (good sign), but no shipping info yet.

I ordered at 3:05am on 10/7 and still backorder "1", and the amount is still held on my card, not cleared yet.

I don't think my order is showing back order either. The AT&T rep said its in progress. She said tracking is the next step. I guess there's still hope for tomorrow. If not I think it'll come in Saturday or early next week

I still think there's a chance for tomorrow.

FYI you can avoid a 2 year or even binding contract if you know what your doing, thats what we did. We have business and personal accounts with ATT now and we can drop @ anytime without termination fees. If you offer them enough accounts they will offer you great service (w/ no contracts). I know most can't get this but we have been lucky

For those without tracking numbers, think of it as a blessing in disguise.

You won't have to keep checking on it to see where it is. You can wake up and be surprised with a tracking number in your inbox or even better, a box on your doorstep.
