I hate to push the panic button, but I ordered my phone via AT&T customer service rep on Friday morning (Oct 7th - 8AM EST) and agreed to the Terms and conditions email an hour later. I have NEVER been able to get the AT&T wireless website order status to show anything (it returns an error with E19: or S0001) about my order.

I spoke to someone two days ago that said everything with my order looks fine INTERNALLY despite these issues and they assured me I'll get tracking information emailed to me on Thursday (today). Well, I called again today (after I still can't see the order on the website and no tracking email) and they told me it is 5 to 7 business days out. They also said that they show my order as actually getting placed in the system on the 9th. :mad::mad::mad:

For what it is worth I upgraded two lines one with 64GB blk and the other a 16BG white
 
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think the 'track by reference #' trick is a bug in the UPS website.

Try it. Put in ANY number for the reference number, and put in any 6 digits for the zip code. It *always* "finds a package":

Yeah, you're definitely right. I have an order that I saw go to 0 QTY_BACKORDERED 0 a couple hours ago (FINALLY). I tried entering my phone number into the Track by Reference and it got a match, and I thought UPS had my package.

A little bit later I get a FEDEX tracking number. So the UPS Track by Reference thing definitely doesn't any anything. But anyone still backordered, I think you guys will be fine. I just recently finally got off backorder and got a tracking number. This shipment hasn't even shipped yet.
 
Does anyone know the cutoff for shipping today? ARe they still shipping orders out? Or rather still going to update the status pages?
 
For those without tracking numbers, think of it as a blessing in disguise.

You won't have to keep checking on it to see where it is. You can wake up and be surprised with a tracking number in your inbox or even better, a box on your doorstep.

just spoke with the UPS guy that does my neighborhood...
if your tracking info says "Next Day" you are priority delivery and you will get the phone early in the day. Drivers will deviate from their regular route to get your package by a certain time.
If it says "Next day AIR SAVER" you will get it at the normal time UPS usually gets to your house/office.

so in my case, mine says Next Day Air Saver. Instead of getting it at 10am, im getting it at the usual time of delivery for my street (3pm). According to the UPS guy about 45 min ago.

I'm having a hard time finding where it says, "Next Day" or "Next Day Air Saver" on the UPS tracking page. Any help would be appreciated! I'm really hoping mine is a morning delivery though. :D

I am in a similar position. I ordered on the 7th over the phone with att and the email I got on the 10th with the link to att gives me an error message also. My husband called on Wed. to see what was up and they said we should still get it on the 14th although I don't know how it is being shipped and cannot view any tracking or shipping info or even order status info. I have no idea if I will get it tomorrow or how long I will be waiting, ugh!
 
I was just talking to my brother... who drives a delivery truck for UPS... he is DREADING tomorrow !! ROFL. However... he does say it's better than when a new Harry Potter book would come out.

I'm in Chicago, my 16gb Black is shipping via FedEx- website says 'at destination sort facility' as of 6:17 pm. Ordered on the 7th at around noon for reference.
 
Why did AT&T put a block on their shipments to where you can't request it be held at the facility or delivered to a UPS store.. This sucks

I was able to divert my Apple order to the ups store...

I was able to divert my Apple order to the ups store...

because they've obviously had problems with people saying they didn't get their shipments. Hell, the phones aren't even late yet and you've got lynch mobs forming in this forum. I'd probably ask for a DNA sample if I were them.
 
Ordered Friday at 3am and order says processing. Just got off the phone with AT&T rep and said it might ship Friday. That was their plan. Not too happy with AT&T.

Never received any confirmation emails. Only status was online. Doesn't look good for anyone still in processing status. Sorry for the bad news.
