AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

I also ordered a 32 gb Friday in the store. I placed my order around 3 pm CST. Went to the store that I ordered it at, they said there's not question I'll have it by Friday. As Friday gets closer and closer, I don't see myself getting it any time soon. My status hasn't changed and I'm still showing back ordered. Lucky for me I have another line eligible for upgrade. I may take my chances tomorrow and try to find a store with a 32 gb black in stock. Who knows, maybe I'll get to the office tomorrow with an iPhone waiting for me.

I finally got the tracking info and it says the package will arrive tomorrow as scheduled but the weight is only 1lb. This seems too light to have 2 iPhone in one package. Did anyone else order two phones in one order and if so, what is your weight showing? Or, if you ordered one iPhone, is it showing as 1lb or less?

By the way I ordered by phone on the 7th at 7.45 PM central time. "new customer had tmobile iphone 3gs unlocked for 3+yrs now." didn't get T of S email till this MONDAY 6;45 pm. didnt accept it till 11:00 bc i was working. Got tracking number today at 6:00 pm.

Now since i work at the Fedex Station that my iphone 4s is coming to i get to pick it at at 7:30 AM!!!!

my phone is "at destination sort facility" in my home town

delivery by 3pm (fedex)

what time does fedex usually start there routes? alarm set for 8am and will be sitting on my balcony like a hawk looking for prey
 
It sucks that Next Day Air is supposed to be by 10:30, but it says on the page by the end of the day. I guess I won't be seeing my phone till Sunday. My girlfriend will gets hers though, so I can play with it all weekend. :p
 
Don't know what to do!

I've read of a few of you this afternoon that ordered online through Premier whose Order Statuses still said back-ordered. Is this still the case?

I ordered a black 32g online from the Premier site at 7:45am EST on 10/7. I got the confirmation email at 8:06am 10/7 stating I should get my phone 10/14. The Premier website order status lists my order as having been placed on 10/7, but hasn't been updated since 10/8 and still just says pre-order. The myATT order status lists 10/8 as my order date, and also still says Processing and that it's back-ordered. Using Track by Reference on UPS and FedEx brings back nothing. I did have a pre-auth for the full amount on my credit card, but that has now disappeared. I called AT&T tonight to see what they would say... I just got the automated Order Status line, but they didn't have my order number. ???? Not sure if I should leave work tomorrow to be here for delivery or not! This has been quite frustrating.

Oh, and on top of it, the Premier site lists my old address (I moved almost 8 years ago), while the regular AT&T site has my current address. I don't even know what home the phone is going to show up at!! Luckily, I'm friends with the people who live in the old place.

ARGH!!!
 
anyone who ordered and their phone is shipped by UPS? Mine is sitting in louisville and has been all day since around 9:49am this morning. it hasn't moved since. anyone find anything differant???
 
A story of hope

I freaked out for the last few days because the order didn't show up on the online order check site but I just got the email telling me the phone is in Texas and on the way.

Bottom line: the order site is all screwed up and is even now telling me that it has no record of my order despite the fact that I now have tabs on my phones winging their way to me.

I just think that the website and AT&T generally can't keep up with the crush.

Stay hopeful people.

Mine says two pounds but that sounds heavy. I wouldnt worry yet.

You've just got the email? Like within the last few minutes?
 
I've had no change since Saturday.
- Ordered ONLINE 10/7 1:00 pm CT (well within the cutoff)
- iP4S BLK 32
- Received initial confirmation email with "delivery on 10/14"
- No further emails since
- CC shows pending charge since 10/8
- MyATT Status: In Progress / 1 backordered / Date ordered: 10/8
- ATT Premier Status: Pre-Order / Date ordered: 10/7 / Updated: 10/8

I'm starting to wonder if it's PREMIER that hosed things up, showing an update the next day, meaning the order wasn't actually placed until it was transferred to PREMIER on Saturday, even though all order info says I ordered on 10/7. Thus, iPhones were not reserved for Premier orders and by the time they processed on 10/8, none were left.

Has anyone with PREMIER that ordered ONLINE noon/afternoon (or anytime on Friday) received shipping notification?

I'm also confused by some that posted about TOS agreement email, were those for new customers?

UGH! This is so frustrating!

For those that are being ship with fedex, I just got off the phone with CS, they told me the package does not require signature after the first attempt they will leave a note and hold at the nearest facility unless you have a note on your front door stating that just leave the package here. Personally I would not let them leave at my front door.

Hate to break it to you, but do they deliver on Sunday?

edit: nevermind, I was ahead by one day in my mind. Enjoy!

Nevermind. Monday since I dunno if they deliver on Saturday. I can get someone to sign Saturday if they deliver then. Otherwise, Monday is the day. I'm hoping they'll deliver early tomorrow but UPS always delivers to my house at like 7pm. Fedex is the one that delivers at like 9 am.
